OK guys, I need some technical help with trying to play the first pirate warriors game (and this might also happen with pirate warriors 2). Whenever I have that disc in, all I get is this: "You cannot play this game at the current output setting. (80028F10)". any ideas?

^ Hmm.... it depends on your setup for your TV. If your still using the RWY Composite cords for display, you'll need to...

1. Go to settings
2. Go to display settings
3. Go to video display output (the first option)
4. Choose your connector type (composite/ S-Video)
5. Then change your tv type from a 4:3 resolution to 16:9 resolution

If not, you'll need to say what cords your using~

Huh.... we might actually see a "version" of the Aokiji/Akainu fight on Punk Hazard~

The Dream Mode's plot seems decent enough, we'll have to see how it plays out~

Jezus! All this stuff makes the original Pirate Warriors seem like a beta version.

That was an awesome trailer that certainly makes it stand out compared to Pirate Warriors 1. Garp's improvised move set is crazy; he's practically a wrestler. This Dream Story has me intrigued as well.

Smokers moveset and abilities is so disappointing. It doesn't feel like he's powerful at all and just throwing random attacks. White blow is so weak he uses it to toss them in the air then slam them with the Jutte. They gave him Marcos special with him flying similar to his Bird form... why did you do that? His special is so weak looking his jutte enhances his fighting style but it's mainly smoke. Could of made his special more smoke related like the gigant battle special where engulfs everybody in his smoke and it harms you. They messed up his character and I'm not sure what they did to the others but it's not looking really good so far.

You can't really make smoke "flashy" though.

^ Exactly. The smoke logia isn't really destructive. It's more meant for maneuverability, evasion, and capturing people. That's why Smoker also uses a seastone jutte - to compensate for his ability's lack of offensive output. Maybe in the future he'll come up with some other uses for his DF, like seeping inside the orifices of his opponent and smoking them to death from the inside, thus increasing the lethality of his ability. Smoker's moveset looks reasonable; it's as you would expect it to look.

^ You mean from their insides? Because Smoker hasn't shown such an ability as of yet. But that's akin to what I'm referring to about Smoker increasing the lethality of his fruit. He needs more time to develop and master his ability.

Yeah... come to think of it... we haven't actually seen Smoker actually use his Smoke abilities themselves to attack people... mostly just to evade/dissorient them...

So complaining about this moveset for not using his fruit to attack is really just complaining about the character itself~

Guess Oda didn't bother with that since that's more of Caesar's schtick.

Anyways, I'm really looking forward to playing as Garp. Dude looks like a real beast on the battlefield.

Well, we don't know Smoker's full moveset for the game... we unfortunately we can't really judge it fully until release~
