Actually i can positively say BJF is indeed a real jellyfish. But i could never figure out how he got his computer under the sea.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. He must be living real near to the shore so that he can plug the wire to the nearest plug. Or maybe he lives in a fish tank? That would make things much easier.

I think it does to some extent. For example, when you (you=ashibaka) had that bottle fairy gangster advatar (that was you right?) At first I didn't know what it was from so for some reason I pictured you as a 40 year old lesbian with a smokers cough (I honestly don't know why, I had no problem with you personally), but then I watched the series and realized that your advatar was cool so it erased that perception.

Most of the time it has no real effect. Personally I hope when people turn on their TV and happen to see Hercules topless, they will think of FinFangFoom with affection

A little, yes. ^^;; But I think that's normal.. I mean, people usually choose an avatar that suits their personality. Or they just pick an image they like.. And that usually tells about what type of things they like.

I agree with Kurara. Usually the avatar reflects what the user likes. Of course there are exceptions. Note: I don't watch CCS. I just like the image.

well my avatar now kinda reflects my feeling but my older one reflects my feeeling completely

usually when i see other ppl's ava it really doesnt tell me to much since there are ppl with saliormoon ava's and are 40 sitting at home eating nachos lol

(doesn't mean to flame or insult, if i did sorry)

1. FinFangFoom - 25-35(mature)? possiblly the only person here with enough common sense

2. gravitation - a bit younger than 20? doesn't give me an uneasy feeling. Gentle?

3. JAppi - a little on the sharp side in terms of personality.

4. Kurara - around 14-16, always happy, maybe a little naive (just my feeling)

5. boneyjellyfish - even though the name is jelly, but the ava gives me a feeling he will stands by what he believes....(whatever that mean)

6. ashibaka - good nature

I will admit that I have chosen my avatar and it's cousins with a great deal of thought as to what kind of image I present. I'm not sure how many people actually imagine me the way I want to be imagined, but I am trying to influence it.

Also, I have to admit that I always imagine FinFangFoom as looking like Kevin Sorbo.

On the other hand, when I think of boneyjellyfish I imagine a shapeless blob with hanging tendrils floating in the sea.

well when i chose my sig and avatar i choosed it to be my faviorite character which i think reflect part of my personality other ppl sigs and avatar reflects part of thier personalities such as some ppl might chose and avatar which reflects thier humor others which reflects thier likes or dislikes and u always have others who choose it to standout etc...

never the less it doesnt allow me to judge ppl i cant judge someone with thier sigs and avatar only when i read what they write on different topics will i able to clearly percieve them

anyways thats just my opinion and thats the first and only time i joined a forum so i might be incorrect
