So I keep hearing about this super OP sword he gets. What chapter does he get that at? I remember someone saying it had infinite leech stack or something, how does he actually get it?

What rub me wrong about sword is not a cheat... game allowed, so whats the deal with all of sissys crying for it?
All rich guys spend so many money and underground tactics to rob mc of goods.
After... admn can level up some classes if them are unbalanced too much. But a sword? Ne? Our mc is not invencible with sword alone... personal skills count too.

well, he's sword before it was nerfed was said to be able to infinitely increase the amt of hp he drains from enemies and if that amount is high enough he could just attack without fearing that his hp would drop cause it is replenished everything he lands an attack which is a cheat

Nah LXY himself acknowledges the sword is buggy. It's not the life leech that stacks, it's the attack bonus %. He uses it for one arc and basically AoE one shots people with it, they're right to nerf it. Even without it's still one of the top swords.

Plus he just keeps stacking cheat eq and skills anyway, don't worry for him. :P

Can't believe the Generals are telling him to just sell the axe, come on, always need before greed, he should have just insisted on giving the berserker general the axe. He already accepted the purple helm.

It makes sense. The Generals decided they value relationships made in game more then a short term item upgrade. They are currently killing gold and purples bosses, that drop 1-3 silver/gold/purple loots. Besides the first guild creation tablet on the server is worth a real fortune.

This appears to be a setting where reputation is more valuable the short term item worth.

And they're all friends here right now, reputation is more of a public tone. Kind of silly that they want him to just sell it to put money in his pocket, when giving the berserker the axe would allow them to take down gold and purple bosses easier was well.

I see th e purple helm as a compensation for his second death, since he lost his own helm to recover the tablet.

I agree, he should have at leazt insist on a discount to the general.

Lol the country vs country battle royale has totally screwed up balance, it's like giving candy to china's population, so to counter that everyone apart from the USA wants a piece of China apparently, the china-centrism is way off the chart. :P

And they are absolutely right. If Tyrant didn't betray Xiao Yao, he and his guild would've been 2+ levels higher, had more good equipment and had a reliable ally - much more than that black tier sword was worth.

Not really. As has been demonstrated, at this stage what is absolutely crucial is:
- Healers' effectiveness
- Main Tank defense and Health
- Main Tank damage/aggro generation
- (maybe) burst DPS for mages for hit-and-run tactic

Additional sustained damage for a close combat DPS class like Berserker is not going to contribute much to their boss killing capability - adding an extra DPS member would provide greater effect.

What that axe is good for is solo monster farming to increase level up speed.

Or killing a PKer or boss stealer in 1 hit instead of 2hits like what happened during this incident.

I Am asking because the game is probably one of worst conceived games i can think of.
The more we know of the game the worse it is and the MC kind of falls constantly short on the expectations....
Really, this last chapters have pointed so many flaws of the game that it gives the idea that the more we know of the game the worse it gets

1. Unbelievable mandatory grindfest required. Quests need 10-20 times more monsters killed than is feasible and fun.
2. Extremely PK friendly (and player non-friendly) game system that greatly encourages griefing and item/boss kill stealing - you are resurrected right where you died, so that the boss (or enemy) can kill you again and again.
3. Extremely huge penalty for dying - you lose several levels and equipment.

I don't know why anyone would want to actually pay for that game - it sounds like extremely hard and non-satisfying work and not a game.

I don't know why anyone would want to actually pay for that game - it sounds like extremely hard and non-satisfying work and not a game.

The quest alone is a major turned-off. Who in the right mind would do a single quest for at least a half a day to a whole day.

It is like the game is telling you to be PKer and you just have to wait an hour or two for the PK symbol to disappear. And when you die you get 1 lvl down (no matter your lvl) and 1 or more item drop. And when you die you resurrect in your corpse. Meaning there is possibility for infinite PK.

Just this alone can make this a very crappy game. Royal road is much better.

Many popular games are/were like that actually. Don't take WoW as the only standard stick. :P The grindfest is typical of asian games apparently, heck in maple story I remember you had to grind for months for a single level at high levels. -_-

Actually those aren't the biggest problems about the game. :P

Anyway the story isn't about the game, the game is just a prop for the story, although there's a lot of loot porn in the first part of the story. It's a switch your brain off kinda kinda thing.
