So in original time line, Laplace is uber OP to the point orsted is relying on underhanded tactic to kill him when he was infant? I mean the Girl died 200++ times to the point she became crazy? She remember each loop, like Orsted but unlike Orted she is not powerfull, enough to be possitive about her next loop unlike Orsted who always thinking "if this doesnt work, that might work" or "Cliff Gravure, he need to marry Elinalize next time"

How about lara, will you like it? Lara will bea great MC, since she have foresight similiar to Hitogami. I think Lara is the best candidate for MC for next arc. Started when she was 15? I think her first meeting with the great grandmother will be grand.

This world lives on, but "Mushoku Tensei" (unemployed man's reincarnation) is Rudy's story. It ends here.
(although he has extra epilogue stories planned, he said he'll release them at slow pace like 1~2 a month)

Mushoku wasn't the only novel that takes place in this world anyways.
The King Dragon slayer story was as well, so I guess he may have more plans for more story.

I do want to see what happens to Akito and Lilia a hundred years down the road!

Well, I feel that if the new mc is going to be this "Lilia". Then we would have another new and interesting perspective.

In Rudeus arc, we have an japanese person views toward the world of Mushoku Tensei.

In Lilia arc, we are going to have a person from the Mushoku Tensei world views toward the japanese world. Said japanese world came from "Aki".

This new views might lead to several interesting and funny scenes.

Yeah, me too. Like i'm happy because it was a happy ending with most of them dying from old age and the ones who stayed alive were living happy lives and all but still hearing that eris and rudy died just makes me a bit unhappy even though i know that's how life works...

i thought the ending is perfect. Rudi was never a shounan hero. He got a 2nd chance to make for the mistakes of his first life and he did. He live long fulfilling life protecting his friends and family. At his death bed, surround by family and friends.

AND WE NEVER EVEN GOT TO SEE LAPLACE OR TECHNIQUE GOD IN ACTION!

Zenith got old. Died probably 27 years after the final battle.

Eh? You do understand that even before Mushoku Tensei finished, there are already more stories set in the same universe, right? No surprise there.


Still reading the chapters. Ah, so Rudeus did indeed came to be known as MadouOh / King of Magic, as Vita's dream suggested. Even got some other fancy and cool names. Surprised he also influenced painting and not only doll making

According to the biography he did indeed die at 74, meaning that what he dismissed as 'future that would be nice dream' he saw at 34 was probably true.

- If I'm reading correctly, historians presume that Quagmire vs Dragon God was caused because Rudeus felt that Ted was a danger to Ariel?
- During the Fort battle, over 10,000 people died due to Rudeus large scale magic attacks

I hoped we would at least get some gravity magic lore through him. Seems that won't happen I mean escpacially with the build-up through future Rudy and it being "omnipotent" and all that... It would be quite disappointing, if someone else than him would be the one to "discover" it in this timeline.
