Sorry, it is just that I find it somewhat ironic since this sort of thing has happened a lot lately. Like, is this a new trend among light novel artists or something?

the numbers again, should a figure, but i surprise kazehaya wasn't the one that framed, of course fianna & greysworth r more worthy of being framed, because they didn't trust the unholy kingdom, guess that the numders learned a few new tricks, after the last time they battle kazehaya & his fan club

But that's no hint... We all already knew that Greyworth could use the Absolute Blade Arts. The only known characters capable of using the Absolute Blade Arts are Kamito and Greyworth, and if Kamito got stabbed by Purple Lightning, that leaves only one suspect.

If you guys have suffered through World Purge in IS this is the reference
I see Ellis having a dream thats a combination of Houki's and charlotte's where Kamito is in mansion and Ellis is his maid but they also have swordfights

As for Rinslet: Cecelia's dream in WP where he's a servant of hers who does naughty things to her. (and mirelle tries to join but is stopped by Milla (who secretly wants to join also))

I've been wondering for a while, but why does everyone keep on calling the first form of absolute blade arts "Purple Lightning"? Last I checked, it was just a sword slash and had nothing to do with lightning and wasn't it translated as Purple Lightening before? When you also consider that it was alternately translated as "violet flash" in the manga, it makes you wonder where the "lightning" part came from.

Lightning can simply be analogy for speed, which would be apt description of the move.

In any case, the kanji shiden (紫電) literally means "purple lightning."

Translating 電 (which means lightning or electricity) as flash would be deliberately choosing a looser meaning for no compelling advantage.
