Yeah, that's what I think. Considering Ai didn't even blame the stalker that stabbed her I don't think she's the type to hate others.

Even when she got scouted by Ichigo she was blaming herself.

What potential misunderstandings? Ruby and Himekawa don't ever interact.

It's not like Ruby is ever going to date Himekawa and suddenly learn that he's her half-brother.

No, she's trying to do that with her full-blooded brother. No surprise incest. She knows what she's going for.

And, to be fair, it's Himekawa's secret to keep. Just his knowing means that even if by some chance Ruby decides to start hitting on him, he knows full well to shut that down. Aqua shouldn't have even gotten that knowledge and wouldn't have if not for the fact that he really wanted to kill his dad.

He would get shut down even if he wasn't blood-related anyway since Ruby is only interested in Goro, and Aqua is so overprotective that he would find ways to break off any guy who gets close to Ruby.

As interesting as this was, I don't see why the director couldn't just directly say he wanted to see more anger and trust the actor to adjust accordingly.

I get you, but even in this situation Ruby might be pretty grossed out even if she gets shot down.
