I must say that was the most fun first episode that I've seen in this season.

So this gets even crazier, huh? Can't wait for more.
Trust us, it truly gets CRAZY. It becomes FABULOUS if we reach Part 2.

Watched this episode. It DELIVERED. I'll be honest here, the first chapters of the Part 1 were not that compelling to me, due to the drama that reminded me too much of Candy Candy and series like those. However, the neckbreaking pace helped by the cinematography and direction really helped to make it riveting. Also good job from the voice actors, especially Koyasu.

Unfortunately, I'm already intimate with the source material, so my enjoyment level is kind of ruined as I know what's going on already.

That said, it's good to see this adaption, if only because it shows old-school anime isn't completely dead!

This has been confirmed for 26 episodes already? I think I remember reading that as well but just wanted to make sure.

Yes! More old school anime!

Too much moe/slice of life anime out there...

Between this and HxH, Anime is finally starting to turn the page towards a new golden age of shows that aren't about what girl wants to date you the most. It is so nice to see some good shonen bloody battle of the fists anime that are dark and gritty AND have a good story behind them.

First episode was great. A real face pounding ride and it is easy to get on the "Dio is the worst person in the world," train (Which factually, he is!)

9/10

Ah this was great. I knew Jojo would be something I could come to enjoy once I eventually got to it, and this first episode delivered.~ Pleased it's also not some heavily-edited adaptation trying to make itself more child-friendly despite being a big-name Shounen Jump series.

The visual style is interesting and somewhat unique. It's like a modern spin on the 80's beefcake styles like seen in Dragon Ball or Fist of the North Star. I approve.~

Dio is just a despicable guy, but that's good to me.~ Really makes him entertaining to watch and really makes it more and more gratifying once Jojo finally got his revenge against him for all the stuff he did. The antagonist pretty much makes the story here, so if Dio wasn't around we wouldn't have one.

And the mask that was shown is very intriguing. I have no prior experience with the manga so I don't know if I'm right or not, but considering how it reacted to blood and has what looks like fangs on it, I'm going to make the assumption is has something to do with vampires.

I'll be following this show weekly. No doubts here. The awesomeness is quite prevelant.~

I don't doubt it and it's going to be awesome. I'd heard awesome things about the series, I can see why, now, haha.
