In my opinion, the current race between Takumi and "god Arm" seems boring and pale in comparison to the spectacular race tactics of Keisuke and "god Foot". But, I'm
hoping episode 23 will pump my adrenaline once again for Intial D racing action.

Well, god arm is not as fast paced, but god arm is soooooo cool and the planning is interesting too. The fun really starts at the latter part of the runs.

Spoiler:

the way 4th stage is progressing, im losing the "on the edge of the seat" effect. they do need to lose sometime. i think it would bring more drama.

Well, Takumi lost against the Impreza on Akina(his own turf). He seemed to suffer quite a bit until he knew it was his dad. That's good enough for me.

@moshun: Perhaps just wait for the race b/t Takumi & GodArm?

I think it''s time for me to read the manga chapters for the race to see what actually is going on. Previously, I just skipped through the race and read about the ending.

Spoiler for Some info after the race in the manga:

Well if Summer is ending, I imagine Project D will call it quits for awhile. Seems like they are a Summer expedition. Perhaps then we'll hit the next milestone for all those wanting more development or whatever.

@Serenade: sadly, i clicked on a spoiler tag from another post and already know how takumi vs godhand will end up.

Spoiler:

being an initial d fan tho, i will keep watching as long as they release new eps. i still think the best race in 4th stage was vs the pro driver

Keisuke's race in ep 21 beat it I'd say. Specially at the summit.

It's a one year expedition, from spring to next spring, all seasons. Ryosuke said it himself, there is no off season for street racers

Ah I see. Racers like cold weather anyways. Good for the car.

Just noticed something really random -- why is one of Keisuke's headlights burned out?

Apparently it's been like that since ep.18 when Keisuke got the 'upgrade'...

I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that normally people drive on the left hand side of the road...

I think its because of the weight distribution of the car since the weight can be unbalanced on the count that the driver is driving on one side of the car. In order to keep the weight balance as neutral as possible, they probably REMOVED a lightbulb from the drivers side of the car to aid in the side to side weight distribution

Um. Surely a single lightbulb doesn't weigh enough to merit that sort of thing.

the headlight is not burned out...

i actually own a red FD3s.

that is the famous RE amemiya body kit from a year or two ago.

the empty hole is an air feed duct to the turbo intake.

truthfully its not very useful as other designs are better, but it works good if you duct it from the light to the turbo.
