Miyabi's character development is rather interesting especially in this chapter, the way he reacted and how he thought of Mizore, it seems like those two have some sort of interesting connection.

I didn't mean it to sound like its possible for those two getting together but perhaps something else. Miyabi states that shes the only person who knows his 'character' well, perhaps a future ally mabye?

I'm just saying the way he acted in this chapter is so weird, he is always come and well composed and yet he acted so serious when talking to the girls as well as with Kiria's betrayal and thinking how 'sweet' Mizore was, I can't help but think that he might not be as evil as we thought or as he appears to be, I don't want to jump to any conclusions or anything but I'm just saying you know, a possible ally/friend.

We know that the most unforgivable thing he has done was throw himself at Mizore and yet she was able to overcome her trauma and even go as far as to "hire" him to defeat Kiria, though still not trusting him, their interaction in the raws show that there is an opportunity for trust.

PREDICTION: Tsukune defeats Kuyou, him and Ruby escape only to find that Miyabi has defeated Kiria and thus the two team up and head down to the showdown with Akua.

Well, future chapters will actually reveal on which side Miyabi stands. I agree that his interactions with Mizore seem a little strange, and Kiria's "betrayal" has definitely affected him, but I think that it's better to wait how his character is going to be developed, rather then speculate about his behavior in the current chapter...

I mean that, at the moment Miyabi's character hasn't been fully developed, not to mention that we really have no idea what he was planning to do, before Kiria betrayed him.

As for Tsukune allying with Miyabi, well he already received that proposition in chapter 50 and has rejected it, so what makes you think that he will accept it now ?

Furthermore, Kuyou has put Tsukune into a quite a serious mood, and I really have a strange suspicion that he might kill anyone that gets in his way toward Moka - with Kuyou being his first victim...

Well, in my opinion Kuyou has allowed Tsukune to reach another point of his vampire transformation.

The reason why I think so, is because, at the current point, he looks the same as he did, when his powers where going out of control in the doppelganger arc, so if Tsukune's powers would be going out of control, it would be already happening, but as we had seen from the chapter, it seems that he still in control of himself, and I think he's going to stay like this till the arcs conclusion, since if Tsukune hadn't made any progress in controlling his Shinso blood, it would make all the development with Tsukune undertaking the human modification ritual a little redundant - in my opinion at least.

The second reason why I believe it's unlikely that Tsukune is going to lose control over his powers, is the issue of Alucard's revival - which, has already been brought up, as an bad thing, and while I don't think that Tsukune in his current form is going to be enough to awaken Alucard - Tsukune in his berserk mode, would certainly be capable of reviving him - after all, even Tohou Fuhai was amazed by the amount of power Tsukune had in that form, so that amount of power would certainly be enough to revive Alucard, and dealing with a rampaging Tsukune and Alucard would be a little too much, even for someone as strong as Inner Moka - of course, assuming that she is going to awaken in the current arc, which I also find unlikely...

Shortly speaking, I believe that this arc is Tsukune's time to shine, and he's just going to do that, by staying sane, even if his Holy Lock breaks (of course, assuming that it hadn't already happened), and defeating Akua on his own.

As for the matter of the eggs that Fairy Tale planted, I believe that matter is going to be left for the future arcs, and that the topic of the eggs won't be brought up in the current arc, which has a quite simple objective - save Moka without causing Alucard to revive, and Tsukune going berserk would certainly cause that objective to fail.

Hmm, could it also mean "naive" as well? That's how Mizore was describe in raptorfalcon's summary, shown here:

Bubbles explaining that the first branch has connections to the human world financial world. Miyabi is the the boss and public face while Kiria takes care of the "darker" things. Kira warns Miyabi that Gyokuro had already marked him as a traitor and asked him to get rid of him along with Tsukune and the others. MIyabi asks him why is he, who hates restraints, following Gyokuro's order. Kiria says he's just whimsical and to move since he wants to kill the other 2 first. Miyabi tells the girls to go ahead. To protect them from Kiria's attack is exactly the reason he went there in the first place. Miyabi says that Mizore should know his true nature and she's too naive. Kiria tries to follow them but Miyabi punches him and tells him he'll make him remember who his boss is. Kurumu tells Mizore they should return since that's the place where Ruby and Tsukune disappeared, but Mizore explains they are somewhere else now and it's meaningless to wait there. Suddenly they felt the youki of the 2 fighting and Kurumu decided it was best to keep going and meet with Tsukune later. Story jumps to Tsukune and the fox is kicking his butt. Tsukune isn't sure why but feels his body is heavy as if being bound by chains. Ruby notices how string Youko is and remembers he was the one who gave Tsukune a fatal hit in the past and changed his life. She explains that since Youko already beat+almost killed him once, his body is unconsciously afraid of him; at this rate Tsukune will die. Youko asks Tsukune if he's afraid and throws a good hit but Ruby gets in the way and protects him. Youko sees Tsukune's face and tells him his face has returned to how it was in the past (afraid) and that's the way it should be. He continues by telling Tsukune his strength was nothing but an illusion. He just kept getting protected by the girls and thought he was getting stronger. Youko says that once you separate the group of weaklings they get destroyed instantly and adds that Yukari and the boy from the Won family are dead. Apparently they got killed by the 6th branch's boss and their bodies got so smashed they can't even be identified. Youko starts laughing when he sees Tsukune's face and says' that's the face he wanted to see. Image of a chain breaking (not the seal, but on of the "fear" chains he felt binding his body). Tsukune sends Youko flying and says, "that's right, I don't have time for this. I have to protect everyone". With cool looking fangs he says,"Move Kuyou, I'll kill you". Kurumu and Mizore finally reach Moka..

Hopefully it gets scanlated by someone soon, then we'll know for sure what was meant. Until then...

Amai (甘い) has many meanings, what you say is true it can mean "easy" or "indulgent" but, it can also mean "naive", "sweet" or "clever".

Another Topic, I was doing some random translating and figured out that the Shuzen (朱染) family name is translated as "red dye" but, it can also be translated as "bloody stain", that seems to be a fitting name for Moka's family besides her and Akasha.

But Mahou did provide a rough translation meaning not all of it is 100% accurate but, some of the words and translations will be different as well as the meanings in the the final translation of the chapter.

He's a businessman, and probably a politician too. What else would you expect? He's the Mit Romney of the Youkai world. But unlike the real world, I think Miyabe is just a wee bit more honorable... maybe.

You know, I was looking at the situation in the manga as far as Moka was concerned, and I got an idea that I think we may also see some growth from Outer Moka too. I mean, if she doesn't go and try to break the seal like she did the first time to bring out Inner Moka, I think she may pull a "Lend me your power" moment with Inner and do a partial merge so she's the same sweet Moka, but just a little more combat ready, and Inner too would be affected in a similar manor. Both knowing that maybe "that" was what Tsukune was talking about on the plane on the way to Hong Kong, they both accept that maybe as one, they could surpass what they have been by far, rather than separate.

Because if one takes into account that Outer Moka could hold a portion of Akasha's Shinso strength, Moka could tap into that to accomplish her true desires. She may even be able to communicate with Akasha being so close to Alucard, and she "hears" Moka's cry for help, and tells Moka the true purpose of the seal, and how to use it for her benefit, in a way nobody else could have predicted. Thus even Moka gets a power boost to fight against Fairy Tale to escape and maybe even take out the fortress while they're at it.

Though I don't know if that would help any if they sent Alucard and the Sky Garden plunging into the ocean. That may or may not delay the eventual awakening of Alucard, but it could give the group time to gather their wits and forces to do battle with the remnants of FT and Alucard later. In any case, I think this might be the first stage to that end.

Wow, a more combat ready Omote, me likes. I hope it happens there and she gives Akuha the ultimate &(#^@slap, and the latter goes, "You hit me," with a mortified look. That would be priceless. And maybe one for Gyokuro too, she definitely needs to be taken down a few pegs, and then some.

As for dropping the fortress into the ocean, if it's not watertight maybe Alucard could drown, or be crushed by the intense pressure of the ocean floor. Yeah, it would be lame, but it would be realistic. Then when it reemerges from the depths the group will be like , their expressions would be priceless. Of course it would probably take place in the third year or so, they're nowhere near ready to rumble with the Prince of Darkness here and now. And if something goes wrong with Tsukune, he could become the new Prince of Darkness. And that would really suck, for everyone. Ah well, we'll find out soon enough. Until then...

I just finished reading the chapter..and it, was a nice chapter..

Finally...i want to see what the real Tsukune can do..with his new powers...i think that next chapter we see Akhua show up against Mizore and Kurumu..and it will be interesting.., because for me..if Moka see Mizore and Kurumu be hurt very badly..probably she is going to be release her powers..with the result that Alucard well be awakened...
