The third chapter of the new serie of Nakatani Nio has been translated into english, but there is not much comments on it (likely because the chapters aren't free).

The first chapter explained the world and the bug.
The 2nd chapter, focused more on characters and the condition of a main character, Kasane, was interesting.
The last chapter shows the school life of Kon and two new characters.

To compare with another author, I don't think the stories are going to reach the same dramatic level than Mushishi. It may be closer to another of his works, Cats are facing West, which with its "flow" is quite similar but keep a light atmosphere.

The pace is slow but Nakatani seems to be in control of her story for now. I'm quite impatient for the rest
