My Hero Academia is apparently getting a third season according to Yonkou Productions and the latest WSJ scans.

Finale airs in two days so I'm not too surprised. Yonkou is pretty legit and trustworthy with these type of news.

HA, I was just thinking about this, freakin awesome news. What's the next arc after this? I think I know, I started reading the manga at this point, better not give spoilers. Hopefully they give us as many episodes as they did this season. UGH, I'm looking forward to this Saturday's episode so bad, dang preview LOL Really spoils things, they really shouldn't have shown that in the preview.

Spring 2018 would be good for this series. Let the manga get ahead a bit more, because they really are risking running up against the current arc if they keep going. There's a good bit between the end of S2 and where we are now, but not so much that this show could become a weekly series without running into filler real quick.

^Not really. Each year we get about 40-50 chapters. Each 25 episode season would adapt about 40-50 chapters. The manga is about 80-90 chapters ahead of the anime now. (154, while this eason will finish at 69, probably.) so there's enough for two 25 eposode long seasons already once the current arc finishes up.

We could easily get a 25 episode-long season every year and not get caught up

Anyways I'm just looking forward to more from this series. I'm glad they are pacing themselves with the content. Do one or two cours every year as it makes sense with the material and don't rush it.

Hopefully Spring 2018.
