Indeed it does.

Well, it's not surprising that she was easy to manipulate.

Episode 10. The Occult Club Disappears

Almost nearing the end of this season.

The episode to me felt slowed down in contrast to the other previous three episodes ago, but I did not perceived it dragging or outstretched. On the contrary, the pacing was ideal at carefully explaining the deal with Loki's Curse, and the fact of exposing the darkness that lies within Issei and Rias' hearts.

Loki mentioned he was able to make Isseis' emotions rampaging, and moreso after going through the incomplete dragon transformation. However, he was not able to take full control, and I'm pretty sure it was due to Issei's own darkness; those feelings of fright he cannot still shake over Reynare's betrayal; the general consensus is Issei being afraid at how girls feel for him.

For Rias is that likely fearing she's not the one occupying her legitimate spot in Issei's heart and mind.

Lastly, the mood became sort of morbid or moreso dreary, particularly when Azazel told Issei what DDraig told the former that Juggernaut Drive involves a terrible cost of consuming the user's life expectancy.
