I really don't know what to rate this episode..should I rate it high because it got an emotional reaction out of me or rank it low since it made me rage a bit. :O

I understand both sides of the argument here.
I have read/reading the LN (and thankful that another translator other than Zero is working on it) and have watched all episodes of the anime. The anime has taken a slight detour from the LN as of late, but since Ishibumi himself is helping in the writing of the anime, I will trust in him to tell the story. (since it is his story that is being displayed, and he is aiding in the display of it)
Even though it seems that the story(anime) has taken a turn away from the LN, I am enjoying it. Yes, I did have a jaw drop and a WTF moment with the whole "Issei doppelganger" kidnap thing, but, I am still hooked.
I am one of the few who don't mind if the visual media story is not exactly like the printed word story.
That's just my take, do not take it as gospel

While most of the members seemed to have felt conflicted over the anime original content, I for one like this quite much. I usually let the anime adaptations stand for themselves when I watch them instead of constantly comparing them to the original source, esp. LN adaptations. This new take on Issei and Rias' s internal conflicts seem quite interesting and for once, I am anxious to see how the studio will wrap this matter and what is gonna happen next.

One thing I might have doubts about is that the studio might not create any more seasons of HSDxD after this one. AO content is not necessarily bad if executed correctly, but it might mean that it's the end of this series' further adaptations.

IIRC they already confirmed that the Raynare/relationship issues won't be resolved this season, which to me implies that there's another one on the way.

Also I laugh at anyone who thinks this NTR business will be successful against Issei in the long run. I mean, come on, it's not that kind of story.

Why are people complaining about the NTR when everyone knows Ise will rescue her back?

Also that fake Ise was created by the curse Loki place on Rias to make her suffer. Probably when her tears touched Ise's scale mail, the curse took form in another Ise due Rias' doubt over whether Ise really loves her and Rias' monopolization nature. So it took form in an Issei that can comfort her and can belong solely to her. So it isn't really NTR in play but rather Rias' weakness in play.

It's been explained awhile ago that the changes for this season is so that future seasons, specifically 4&5, can be adapted faithfully and back in the original format of 2 Volumes per season. Also, TNK and Ishibumi both stated that, as long as DxD continues to sell, expect more seasons.

But that is the statement, as long as it continues to sell. And while pre-sales may have been high, after this, I know I am not the only one that worries that sales are not going to be enough to justify a 4th season. It is really stupid of a studio to make changes in anticipation of another season, when they are basing it on season-by-season sales. Personally I am very worried about there not being a 4th season because of what was done this season. So what may or may not be done for volumes 9 and 10 are really irrelevant.

just gotta hope theres enough anime only viewers which likes uncensored breasts, cause i doubt LN readers will be rushing out to buy the Bd's....but then again "uncensored breasts" of ur favourite Characters, might be enough

Well, you can't really use here as a gauge for fan reaction determining sales. We need to know how the Japanese fandom is taking the changes, and given from what I've seen, I can't imagine they'll be really broken up over these changes.

well look things are ok give azazel tell issei that juggernaut mode will shorten issei's lifespan.

then things oh no loki's "plan B" revenge in effect give reveal he curse both issei & rias in ways let say payback time.

summon CLONE-issei to tempt take control of rias to blow up school club place yet all this another summon of ragnarok (yet where is thor for all this going on?)

issei seem realize his curse with all happen that rias could be in dimemsional gap so like call vali for help?
