Man, I was no match.

How can you play with that bit of lag? I mean it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be but the stuff you pulled off seemed to be like it wasn't affecting you at all, are you just really used to it?

Not that I would have won even if I wasn't lagging...

I play in delay 3~4 all the time. Even in offline, lol.

You get used to it, honestly. You should visit the Umineko Mizuumi IRC channel, there are quite a few players there in your region that could also play you. And as I said, you can ask any question there and they'll answer, and the best player outside of Japan (IMO) often streams with commentaries. It really helps. I just suggest you dont play against Thatguysenpai and Jonarific for now lol.

But seriously, just felt like seeing if I could do it again to make sure it wasn't a fluke and figured I might as well post the video if I was going to go through the trouble of doing it. Win rate against him is less than 50% atm, but I don't think I have the patience to bring it much higher before I move on lol.

Thanks for uploading this video, Twillight. Since I'm practing with a EriBb team, your videos using her are very important to me. It's not such a <super> hard thing to find a video with someone playing with Erika, but it's not that easy too. LOL

Thanks to you, now I know how to use Erika's 22ABC (and obvioulsy 22AB) properly.

Well, you were wandering, in your video description, which team you would use to defeat him. I know you'll probably choose BatBea, but you could use one with Black Battler or Shannon. Yes, it would be a challenge, 'cause Bb <super> low health and Shannon defensive way to be (I play with JesSha, so I could help you, if you want

)

Or you could become insane and try to defeat him with a team with Ange on it.

Ange isn't THAT bad. I think the hardest would be Rosa/George.

Agree with you, Sol, but Ange, IMO, is hard to play with too. I only saw one video of some for western playing with her, since CROSS came around. (I, myself, tried a LamEnj team, but I failed to play against a human inteligence)

With her ability improved, japaneses back to play with her. Only them. And they're doing a good job. I like Ange and I wish I could play better with her, but since I can't proclaim Meta (video card sucks and when Meta declaration, everything goes down to 6FPS) and it's hard to make Meta Special on joypad... Well... It's hard to play with her.

I really didn't like shannon in the past because she seemed to be way too silly for me to take seriously, but now that I'm going through getting all the endings she's seeming like a much more useable character than I originally gave her credit for. I especially like doing lightning into shield grab 8D If you have tips for how to use Shannon (and know partners that work well with her) I'm all ears

Oh and yeah Black Battler would be suicide lol. I'm almost tempted to do a BBattler Bern term one day to see if he can kill me in a single combo lol

EVERYONE had this thought in the beggining. EVERYONE. Include me, that love so much to play with her. It's hard when you start to play with her. "Omg. Shannon is a piece of junk! What stupid attacks! Not even her ability is enough reason for me pick her!"

This is almost everyone's thought. But then you practice and practice and see how powerfull Shannon can be.

If you have any doubt about her moveset, combo, etc, PM me, alright?

Now, about a partner for her, I use Jessica. You can try JesSha team and then tell me what you think about then. (Everybody is teaming up Shannon with Willard. You know: SP Cancel and that Super Meta combo using Shannon)

shannon and kanon as team provide a nice change of pace, or george because shahon's autoblock is fun to have along george's meta super as you can only run towards p2 while trying to perform georges super without worrying about failing to block in case you don't tdo teh super fast enough.

What I like about shannon as that she seems to have the perfect attack for a specific distance as so as lng as you manage your spacing correctly you can be really annoying.

I think Shannon is an okay character. She has some awesome mixups, okizeme options, nice health, her throws are very useful, her corner game is decent, too. But she has crap mobility and nothing to really make up for it, her midscreen combo potential is meh, her normal moves are awkward and don't have much range. She also gets zoned out very easily as she has next to nothing to defend against it.

Pairing up Shannon and Jessica is an interesting team, but it takes a lot of effort to play them well. Both are terrible at approaching and can't really defend against zoning. Then again, AutoGuard is useful for Jessica, I guess.
