Did she not suck her "spiritual energy" rather than her blood? Just like the girl from last episode. If it would have been blood medical personal would have been able to tell.

As usual, the episodes seem too short in advertisement for the BDs and the fact that they have to deal with TV timeslots.

But what we got here is really good. Archer and Shirou conversation sets things up well (see the two shot of them. A caution arrow is pointing at Archer and a mirror is set to reflect Archer as well), Shirou is gradually getting into the HGW rather than making a dramatic 180 about it (let's see if he'll tell Rin about Shinji or will he honor the friendcode), Saber and Shirou bonding was nice and platonic stuff which is better than Fate's forced romance, Caster encounter was well shown, Caster flashbacks foreshadow her character well, Assassin too good, they showed the bounded field around the temple to explain why there is only one way in.

So many good things, so little time. But BDs should add in more content so I'm waiting.

By the way, after the Rin route she's still as energetic as ever. And in case you were wondering, yes, the person who attacked her was Rider. She chased her down into a back alley and SLUUURP, sucked her blood on the spot! I sure hope she didn't pick up any weird habits from that, nyahaha.

Not as fun as last week's episode, partially due to less Rin and more foreshadowing. That and Shinji, ugh. Nice to see how Shirou contributes to them slowing down the field around the school.

Also nice to see the Shirou vs Archer grudge really starting up. Good thing Rin's orders were clear that night. Looking forward to the servant fights next week, Saber vs Assassin should be good.

That was a fine appetizer to the main dish that will happen next episode. It ended exactly where I (and many others, I'm sure) was expecting it to, meaning the next episode could easily turn out to be the best of this first cour, considering the climatic events that will take place in it. Hopefully ufotable will accordingly go all out.

I could've done without Shirou going doki doki for Saber, but I guess the guy can use a break since shortly afterwards he found himself immobilized and gently manhandled by a gorgeous, purple-haired woman for the second time that day. He sure leads an interesting and eventful life.
