Utawarerumano OP: Tolerable if typical. 6/10

All of the Above are 10 songs for me. Incredibly stylish, well choreagraphed, lots of effort put into the music, just the greatest anime songs you can find honestly. Very nice collection. I also am going to watch Baccano now. That song was especially good and I probably wouldn't have heard it without this thread.

Darker Than Black OP1: 7/10. Not bad, but a bit to punkish for my taste. I prefer pop.
Ergo Proxy OP: 8/10. The animation adds a lot to the song. Very stylized animation, very nice music. Baccano! OP: 10/10. Baccano itself is pure win, but I love the introduction of all the characters. There are so many... Texhnolyze ED: 8/10. Very beautiful, but a tad too slow for my taste. Eureka 7 OP2: 9/10. I liked all the Eureka 7 openings, but is this is very fun to listen to.

Sorairo Days: Well the song has a great tune to it, but suffers from having Shoko Nakagawa, who I find to be an overly glamorized and ultimately talentless singer providing the vocals. You have to wonder if she even feels any of the songs inherent hot bloodness at all. I prefer the Karaoke version. Also the song title is really cliche sounding and sound like the opening to a Visual Novel rather than a mecha series. 6/10. Narue No Sekai: Decent song if a bit engrishy. I'd give it a 6/10 as well. How about a couple now: Hokuto No Ken Opening 1 ~Ai Wo Tormodose~ Hokuto No Ken 2 Opening 1 ~Tough Boy~ Last edited by Kaioshin Sama; 2008-01-10 at 00:55. |

Blue Drop ED, the full song is even more beautiful.
No one posted the Kaiji ones, did they? Kaiji OP, short but sweet. Underrated as hell. Kaiji Ed. A relaxed ending after an action-pumped episode. I fell in love with the Utawarerumono ones by the way.

Blue Drop ED - Gets a 8.5 from me.
Kaiji OP/ED - Both get a perfect 10!! And it's not just my rampant Kaiji fanboyism that makes me say this. I genuinely love the songs. A couple from this season. They may be hit or miss. Spoiler for Spice and Wolf OP:

Spice and Wolf OP: Easily the best opening for a nice anime I've seen in a while, because it's just plain beautiful and ever so slightly melancholy. 10/10
H2O ~ Footprints in the Sand ED: I havsn't seen the anime, but the ending is nice, and pleasant animation to go with it, too. 7/10 Persona -trinity soul- OP: Very cool opening, and when I watched it for the first time, I was hopeful of a good show. Then I was horribly disappointed by a show that was boring, random, and made no sense. However, this does not detract from my enjoyment of this opening. 9/10 Hatenkou Yuugi OP: I liked it, and was pleased that the small line in English wasn't completely butchered by the japanese accent. It looks like the singers knew how to sing really well. In any case, nice one, though I've never even heard of that anime, much less seen it. 8/10 Here's one, Spice and Wolf ED, subbed. I really liked the catchy tune and the lyrics I thought were clever, but oh God, the Engrish ruins it. :S

Kissdum OP: Never seen this anime, but it seems to have aged pretty well, good music and great action there. :P 8/10
Kissdum ED2: I'm not feeling any nostalgia, but it's a pretty song and an amazing pitch ^^ 7/10 W-Wish OP: I like this one too, rocking and positive. 8/10 Shigofumi OP: Allergic to Ali Project, can't rate True Tears OP: It's...just OK. Not so catchy to me and why do the characters look shocked silly like they're having their brains sucked out? 6/10 *search thread for some favourites to see if they're here* Argh these pages take forever to load... Ok, there's still a couple unpresented ones: Spoiler for Magic Knight rayearth OP3 (English):
