The red dress version is authentic as well, that will be/is a special re-painted edition that would cost twice as much as the original

Sent you a FR

hehe thxs :P
is there a white version for kallen too then? Didn't like the bright red on Kallen, was very tempting for me to get it but i didn't.

Pretty sure they will whip out some new model in the future lol, won't be surprised if they did.

Sure is
http://myfigurecollection.net/figure..._kozuki_kallen

I prefer their original colors though.
Everything about Kallen should be a red/pink. The hair, the hairband, the plugsuit, the bunnysuit and the Guren Except for the panties, that's pure white XDDD

Unlikely, at least not until the next series is aired and thus the show will become popular again.

A recent arrival tries to hold his own...

...but he'll have to do better next time!

(The new emblem on Lockdown's chest is a rubsign from Reprolabels; it suits the character better than the Decepticon logo the toy has on there ordinarily.)

They seem a bit crowded

Give them more breathing room!

Anyways, I think I'm going with Cospa's Fate. The Alter Fate's head is just too big, and I like the more realistic anatomy sculpt that Cospa's Fate is going with.

Has anyone ever shopped at Anime-export before?
- How's their service?
- Are all of their figures genuine and not bootlegs?

Probably a good choice.

How she'll look in your display case, if you have one. ^^

Personally, I couldn't decide so I just got money raped and pre-ordered both.

LoL. Unfortunately, my wallet is being raped by too many other things already. Good that I don't have to spend money on gas and I don't have to pay housing for the summer.

So I got a Detolf last week, and started taking some of the out of the boxes (the not as expensive ones and ones I've opened before). However, looking at the random figurine maintenance tidbits out on the web, it seems I really need to seal the gaps in there in order to minimize airflow and dust?

Temperature and humidity isn't a problem here in the Bay Area, and I don't have them exposed to direct sunlight at all, so the only thing really is dust. However, even with all that precaution, is discoloration, oily surface, and leaning inevitable? =/

Leaning is a thing of the past. Now, good companies use ABS in the necessary parts to prevent leaning, at least or a good year or two.

Oil is from direct sunlight mainly; I think it's not inevitable, but it will be minimal if you avoid sun. Same with discoloration, though I think that is also related to plastic decay, which you definitely can't prevent. Try sticking your figs in the freezer once in a while to keep the speed of the atoms low.

Airflow prob isn't good for your cabinet, b/c it brings dust. You prob shouldn't have to completely quarantine your figs in there to keep them safe; just stick them in their boxes for short intervals in dark, cool places.

Lol. All my figures are still unopened in their boxes, stuck into another box and shoved under my bed. Really paranoid that something might happen to them or simply suffer from general decay..

Why spend so much money and not enjoy them?

That is a really good price for that. I say go for it, if you like Asuka, of course.

But why not buy her at AmiAmi? She costs 6120 yen, and if you're going to get EMS shipping anyway (I hope you are for an expensive scaled figure), she'll costs lots less than at Hobby Search.

Hnnggh Angel Beats Petit Nendoroids Vol. 2 are here!! http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10122620 They all look so adorable! Am getting.

K--Kanade... *dies*

wish they'd release a full size one ;_;

btw I've got the BRS figma on pre-order but I've got second thoughts on getting her now because full size figures that aren't super quality aren't really my thing, and the only reason I'm ordering her and the nendo is because everyone is saying BRS=good (I've only heard the song myself, not really interested in the story or anime.) You guys think it's worth it? :/

And it's only 5 dollars difference it's not that big of a difference
Besides do they ship internationally? I'm fine with HobbySearch for now :P

Dude, impulse buys kill wallets. Trust me, do not get swept up by the peanut gallery wave; don't buy something just because everyone else is or wants you to. I have before, and I instantly regretted spending hard earned cash on crap I didn't truly want for myself. And figmas aren't really full size, they're about 3/4 as tall as a 1/8. Pretty good quality for an average of $25.

But no, don't buy unless you want it. BRS does not auto equal "good". Maybe if it's the scaled, but then again just about anything that costs $100 should be exhilarating, amirite?

::afterthought:: Buy it and sell it for $50 on ebay, yes. No, buy two then sell them at $50 apiece and treat yourself to a brand new scaled.

Of course they ship internationally, I wouldn't have suggested them otherwise.
