Hm, wasn't it said that the storyboard is longer then the movie shown in cinemas? I do sure hope for some deleted scenes... and more of Quan[T]. If that happens maybe we'll get more of this Quan[T] FlowerField.

I have a theory on the flower blooming from the Gundam pic:

Since Setsuna probably upgrades the suit with ELS 'parts'.

I'm guessing ELS remember that the flower is a sign of peace on earth(which happens at the end of the movie). So when ELSetsuna comes back, I assume covering the MS in flowers is equal to "non-hostile MS" while flying around.

That new 00Q really makes me wonder how the hell did the flowers not wither away and perish when Setsuna flew them through space (then enter the atmosphere to land on Earth and see Marina).

Unless they're all little ELS that can change colors?

Also for that half assimilated girl, since she ends up okay do we actually get to see her at the end of the movie? With the condition she's in she's probably going to be full metallic like Setsuna isnt she? It's going to be quite weird to have a half metallic body....

Also, What I'm puzzled about is that...The change in particle emission color. I mean, Isn't it weird that it glows blue instead of green? I know technology advancements and Setsuna's adventure through the whole galaxy can made him add more necessary equipments but, What specific material affected the change in color? My guess would be the pilot, Since he's partially an ELS I think he have the ability to copy other technology that he want then implement it into his gundam using the ELS way (Assimilate a technology, Pass it to the hive mind, Implement it. But in Setsuna's case, He will copy the technology first using his ELS hand then process it into his mind (Super Human Computing FTW!) then he will inject his hand into the part of his Gundam and the injected ELS will relay the information gathered into the system of the Gundam then it will slowly produce another ELS (Since it's a virus, Viruses have the abilities to 'produce' another virus from it self so the same goes for the ELS) after the necessary number of ELS are spread they will 'shape shift' to the desired part.
I know it sounds puzzling but I will try my best to simplify it:
1. Setsuna will use his ELS hands to analyze the technology he wants and then copy the technology without assimilating it.
2. Setsuna will inject a piece of his ELS body part to his Gundam then after it's injected, It will slowly mutate and 'produce' another ELS cell to take form the wanted matter.
3. Since the ELS is a collective mind, It's possible that while one ELS 'produce' another ELS from it the product will also get the stored information that's why it can morph into it.

Anyways this is just a theory of mine so....

I thought it was lame because it has flowers on it. But, now that I see the 00Q is laying in a flower bed, it must be the ELS part of the Gundam assimilating the flowers onto the MS.

Must have been right when it was created, and the remaining particles are from the 00Q. Which is probably on the other side of the galaxy.

It's pretty common for guys to cover their vehicles in flowers (or at least, all over the interior) to impress a woman during special days lol.

I think its possible that the 00 grew them through an ELS nature. Like, it landed there and whatever assimilation processes it might have decided to incorporate flowers onto the machine.

True, true, It's what I thought when I first saw it. It's impossible to fly around in space covered with flowers, certainly impossible to do a re-entry with them all around your unit. It'd take hours and hours to put all of them on if Setsuna decided to do it after the landing.

It's kind of impossible he also used it during those 50 years of galaxy voyage since a 'flower' is something that might only be limited to Earth. Not to mention it's symbolism that all the humans, after the ELS conflict, certainly associate with peace.

It's either Quan[T] assimilating the flowers or that Setsuna really took a few hours to put them all on.
