Your browser sucking. That or there's an anchor on the page and your browser is slow to load/process the document.

For forum browsing an anchor is quite likely the cause especially if you're using to "first new post" button since it will anchor somewhere on the page when used.

Update your flash? Or, as a stopgrap measure, use Chrome and another browser, until a flash update comes.

Use as few things that require flash as possible? though it seems like every page nowadays has flash somewhere on it.

More question... Want to start a thread on this, but feels it's a waste

Mate(guy) is going to Japan to teach English. Any recommends on what should i gift as farewell gift? Somewhere around $50 or less should be good. Best ideas at this moment are all computer stuffs (mouse, good keypad or some nice headset)

Thought of getting him some card games so he can play with his students, but it's probably hard to decide which one

If I am allergic to almonds eating-wise, do you think I'd be allergic to a body wash with almond oil in it? :l

Most likely... yes.

But if you seriously want to test it, prick your skin on the arm with a sterile syringe just barely but not to make it bleed, and dab a wee bit of the cream on the spot and see what happens.

The laughing emoticon at this place <---------

Is it actually flipping someone off whilst laughing or is it suppose to be a sweatdrop or something else rather?

Its a sweatdrop, signifying a nervous or awkward laugh.

I always thought it was just a hand being held up with no fingers, like the Powerpuff Girls.

Oh whoa, I never really even thought about that.

Here's my silly question. As one who knows nothing about how fansubbers do their work, how do groups go about coming up with the lyrics to the opening and ending songs so quickly? Sure, one could translate spoken words easily if they knew both languages, but listen to a new song in your language and it's still tough to pick out the exact words they're saying. Is there some kind of black magic involved or am I missing something idiotically?

They don't always get it right you know, as the series goes on they make corrections.

That's true, but to even get that much is pretty impressive, especially when they can pick out the lyrics that play off English wording and other stuff like that.

Just wondering if that was easy for a translator to sub lyrics as opposed to spoken words.
