That 27GB raw is probably a super encode. The original is probably over 30GB at least like my other BD-Remux anime movies, but I will know for sure once I rip it myself.

I'm impressed it was translated and released very quickly.

I did a few adjustments to the type setting like fix the vertical margin and outline to match the original script style. I don't know why the guys changed it.

It seems like further adjustment on the script is still needed

Because when Saunders returned their tanks and even before I was nothing some similarities to this video,then after re-watching it turns out that is somehow the same school

So after what feels like a lifetime we finally got more GuP and what a lovely showing of Senshado it was. It's a shame that character development was a bit light but given the movie format that was, sadly, to be expected.

I'm a bit peeved that they had to rehash the "save the school" plot from the show but I'm perfectly fine with the end result. Now just give me a second season!

She is called Clara and is Nina friend.
She also speaks Russian as well as Nina and Katyusha are.

There is currently not much info on her but she is one of the Pravda tank commanders.

Count me among those who is also very happy to get more of this series! I enjoyed the movie quite a bit.

I agree that the plot was a bit of a rehash, but overall it was not bad.

For me the best part of the movie were those elements around Miho and Maho; I loved seeing how close they actually were in the past and were able to become once again after Miho left their home. Very heartwarming. Also, the two of them as a combo together in senshado was amazing! ^^

Agreed! It's just a shame that we didn't get to have a proper Mother-Daughter moment as well. Guess we'll have to wait for a second season for that

Though I would love to see Miho and Shiho properly come to terms with one another and move forwards, the movie does have Shiho implicitly acknowledge that Miho is a skilful tanker that is worthy of being considered a rival for the Nishizumi school to best. Back during the TV series, Shiho outright stated that Miho's Panzerfahren was a farce, so to see the movie illustrate this change, however subtle it was, was most rewarding.

Indeed it was and it brought a smile on my face but I still wanted that slightly awkward moment between the two.

Oh, God. This movie is good.

Shiho is gradually warming up to Miho. She's a mother through and through.

The tank battles are epic, hands down. The Nishizumi sisters are one hell of a tag team. Very impressive coordination there. But, holy shit. A Karl Gerat?

That's a hell of a cheat.

Anyways, so universities are rich enough to buy Pershings and Centurions. Nice.

With this in mind, I'm more than willing to swallow my words about Shiho shortly after the TV series ended (a decidedly negative opinion). It takes effort to change my mind about things, and that shows how strong the movie played that particular aspect

The crowning touch for me was the hand signals being passed back and forth... you just know that's not the first time they've done this together

. Also that worried expression on Maho's face just before the 'boost' shot.
