Anime most likely coming. Here's the plot:

Quote:
Komi-san is a beautiful and admirable girl who no-one can take their eyes off of. Almost the whole school sees her as a cold beauty who's out of their league, but Tadano Hitohito knows the truth: she's merely bad at communicating with others.

Komi-san, wishing to fix this bad habit, tries to improve it with the help of Tadano by achieving her goal of having 100 friends.

I'm hoping it does lead to something more official, because I was just wondering earlier today that this would make for very adorable anime material.

This is arrogance, bro.

Of course, by increasing the use of streaming, international taste should be taken into account, but that does not mean that all Japanese anime fans are otakus lolicon or that all foreigners have refined taste. Every year we have different anime, for me, 2016 and 2017 have been much better so far.

Well,I am not lying that i am sort belittle their taste but i am not mean that way in my last post, there is pattern that most of anime announced in 2017-2018 happened to be popular among foreign fandom:
Goblin Slayer, Kaguya, Tate Yuusha, Komi-san, Grand Blue, Hinamatsuri, Tensei Shittara Slime, Kishukku gakou no Juliet and so on.
We know all of these titles and strangely to be picked on the line in the right timing which is making unbelievable if these title taken from in-japan popularity.

Oh this is one of those who would work as a short duration series.

Goblin Slayer, Grand Blue and Tensei Shittara Slime are great commercial successes at Japan (Grand Blue is receiving several sponsors of water sports), nothing out of the ordinary to gain an adaptation, Tensei Shittara Slime especially has a manga that sells more than 200,000 copies.

My point was that you made it understood that if "a serie is good, then it was made with the influence of the foreign public".

I do not say that the external market is not interesting to the production committee, but all these series you quoted fit perfectly with the Japanese taste, which means that since the beginning there have always been varied animes for different audiences, Inuyashiki or Rakugo are not series for example that caught the attention of the foreign public, but still gained adaptation in anime, and both series have a much more mature development and much more human characters than any you cited earlier, especially Rakugo.

If we go to the mainstream popular, Shingeki no Kyojin and Drifters are both hits at Japan as well as for foreign audiences, but on the contrary we would have Lupin III, which depending on the story told can either be a psychological thriller or an action movie, and it not has so much renown outside of Japan, but there is a public success. (I could give other examples, but then I would never finish.)

And so it goes, just as in this next season we will have Tonegawa (Kaiji spin-off) and Algomois, both series that seem to be quite different from what a hardcore otaku would like, but which the foreign public does not seem to know either, and both series gain anime .

In summary, it is normal to think that the foreign market can be taken into account, but I think arrogance to think that it was the only decisive factor since the anime world have always shown such diversity among fans.

Hell yesss. *Fingers crossed*. Yes it would be very adorable, provided they keep the art style intact, particularly the way the eyes are drawn.
