I just read that this novel is at 11 volumes from 2014, someone can explain why? Suzumiya Haruhi can do that for its sheer popularity but 4 year of hiatus seems like a death sentence to this work.

Uh. The author lost interest, in short. I think he got absorbed in doing "Monku no Tsukeyou ga Nai Love Comedy" and left OniAi as a side project that he forgot about.
