Episode 1 is out on CR now.
I went into this show blind and not knowing anything about. It did surprise me slightly that the main guy is actually a Spoiler:
Still not sure what to think about this anime yet. There's a decent amount of characters and I want to know about them more.

So I started watching this, and kind of gave up trying to pay attention halfway. So many characters and everyone is a killer. Even the one who is not supposed to be a killer is a killer. And then there's the killer killer. And the killer killer's wannabe killer? Much killer. Very quirk. Wow.
So far none of the characters are particularly interesting or memorable to me, but I'll probably watch the next episode, maybe all this setup will go somewhere interesting. |

A city where 3% of the population are hitmen? Sounds like a premise that's more designed for style than substance but unfortunately I didn't get a whole lot of style from this first episode either. I'll watch the second episode to see how this all ties up but if it isn't something amazing then I don't think it would've been worth it. There are some positive signs though. The crossdresser hitman is at least interesting and it seems he has something planned by teaming up with the weirdo that likes showing off his clavicles.

An interesting start.
This caught my eye mostly since I don't live far from Hakata and I go there at least every two weeks or so. I like that they portrayed it well, though weirdly I think I see a lot more sights from Tenjin, rather than Hakata proper. I smile humorously at the idea of 3% of Fukuoka's (I say Fukuoka, since Fukuoka's the city, and Hakata is more like a ward) population all being hitmen since, 1) there's really no reason for them all to locate to that single local rather than the much more populated cities north of here, and 2) There's not that much violent crime going on in Tokyo, much less Fukuoka, which has less than a million people in it. However, for the show itself, I like the main leads. I'm not sure where its going to go, but I like what I see so far. The unnamed cross-dressing hitman seems to be Chinese, considering the name of the guy he's working for and his sister. He was the most interesting to me. The fact that there are so many killers in one city all seem to be bumping into each other is ridiculous. But I like it so far, I'll be keeping an eye on it.

The character page is now up, includes even those who showed up at episode 1 first.

I think the show is fine so far but Lin is not a character that I find appealing at the moment. I'm guessing we'll find out more about his past.
Will the story just focus on his revenge from now on? This anime is pretty straightforward with the torture and killings so we'll have to see. The ramen stuff feels like a comedy gimimck added to this anime.

Oh this just got real good...
I had a feeling that was his sister. It's really sad what happened to her. However, big bro has just gotten to know quite a few cool cats that can help him get some appropriate revenge. It's a real shame this show isn't getting more notice. It's also hilarious how much of a crime den they keep portraying Hakata is, when I feel safer there than any of the US cities I've ever gone to and lived in.

Forget feeling, I knew immediately it was the sister...how else were they gonna keep the cross dresser and the detective together once the debt was paid?? Plus the fatal photo went and made its appearance—though in reverse as the person who died was the person in the photo rather than the one who was treasuring it

Not sure what to think now. Yes the episode was decent but I still don't think the clavicle dude and the crossdresser have any chemistry together.
Plus I fear that all the heart and humanity this story may have had just died alongside the imouto. None of the other characters interest me one bit.
