Anyway, at least its Saber lily.. so its a bit tolerable as I feel that Saber Lily is quite more womanly then her original blue white armor

I hate your hairs lol.. can we trade hair coloring skill? but then again, I'm just lazy when it comes to hair @.@

I'll get happy about the coloring when the armor is already done. Coloring metal is something I always have trouble with.

Speaking of armor...... I am currently trying to decide if I should go with a gold or Iron color for it. There are pieces with both colors around and each one has their own charm to it.

Was also wondering if anyone could help me with something....

In the original, it is very difficult to see the ribbon on her head. It looks way too dark and I am unable to make out some of the details in it. My attempts at it have not turned out as expected and was wondering if anybody here would have a better version of this pic.

A fan art with the ribbon in a similar position could work too.

Its looking good!


You can play with saturation, brightness, contrast and levels on the original and then put that version in a diff layer so you can look at it when you need to ... its what i do when i have poor quality images. or you can post it and i could take a look at it.

Here's the brightest, most visible version I found. I fear you won't get a better look at it anywhere but here. Not from this piece of fanart at least.

I did tried to change the levels of the image, but things didn't seem to improve all that much.



I have another one where the colors are slightly different but the problem is largely the same in both.

Im going to assume that the image is ok and that the ribbon shows up like that because of the location of the light source.



i slapped a gradient onto it to make things more visible. Her arm is probably blocking the light so a black ribbon would probably appear as solid black in a dark area.

Yeah, I could always use several references and try to draw the inner part of the ribbon myself.
