yo, mate! Count me in as one who liked 11eyes too.

Really, I'll never come to understand all the hatred this series has received from so many people... I guess, you and me are among the very few people who enjoyed this.

And that is the reason we probably won't see subs anytime soon..

well, I watched it raw, and even if nihongo is a no-no for me (aside from a bunch of words and numbers), I had fun watching nonetheless.

BTW again...why the heck was Kukuri's drawing censored and somethings said of all things on BD? I mean come on....they are BD so you see them only at home or for your personal hearing.

Also censor the dildo thing when it was pointless....just a toy and not genitals like I heard about the whole Japanese law about those...

Probably had the most laughs out of all the series itself. 10/10
Oh yeah forgot.....I am going to do GIFs for this so count me in to announce them like usual when I do them.

Hello. I'm a new member. This is my first post actually... But I'm not a big forum poster so I didn't really feel the need to make a intro thread.

Okay enough about me. :P

I've watched a bit of this anime (Not too much though) and I think it's okay (Some parts of it I liked though), though I do like some of the characters quite a bit. My favorite character is Misuzu. I really like her personality and fighting style. ^^ But it sounds like the anime is really messed up because from what I've read in this topic it is pretty different from the game. Though I wouldn't know because I haven't played any of the games...

roriconfan Banned Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: Thessaloniki - Greece	My review Spoiler for review: So, what do anime like Chaos’;Head, Fate/Stay Night, Interlude, Shakugan no Shana, and Tsukihime all have in common? 1) They are all based on some novel - porn game in disguise 2) They all have chicks with magic swords 3) But above all Spoiler: THEY ALL SUCK ! Some less than others but they are all dwarfed before the source material. And even 11 Eyes is not an exception to this. It plays nicely along the formula and cleverly plagiarises tributes all-time favourite elements of the genre. By they way, I have many spoiler tags you must NOT open unless you have, or don’t intend to, watch the series. Don’t say I didn’t warn you and don’t burn my review because you don’t like freaking spoilers I warned you beforehand not to open. Also I include in bold letters other anime as reference so don’t burn my review because you don’t know what I’m talking about. ANIMATION SECTION: 7 [Super flaming pantsu sword attack!] Nice to look upon but not great in any way. There is a nice antithesis of bright colors during the normal world and crimson ones during the Dark Hour… I mean Red Night… And the girls all look sweet and cute, full of cheery accessories. Not to mention the underwear. Man, skirts in this series have anti-gravity powers. They flip all the time upwards, answering the crucial question of what color they are every two minutes (so we won’t forget it obviously). Also the cameraman of the series must have been a worm, because there are a lot of low angle shots, helping us see under their skirts even when they are just standing still. Hm, very interesting… if you are into that crap! Seriously, it is another series that is mostly erotic aesthetics rather than atmospheric cinematics. That is why even the serious moments feel less captivating than when some underwear flashes in your face. But I must admit that the animators did try to make the characters lively and not complete frozen sluts with flapping mouths. They move around a lot, have funny mannerisms and don’t “Ikki Tousen” us all the time. So, it is an ok attempt at not making everything to feel like an ecchi series. Also, even the battles are done half-good, with hints of choreography and tactics, something you rarely expect from non-shounen anime. So the action was not ubber lame like in series such as 07 Ghost and yet not nearly as awesome as Sword of the Stranger. It was still mostly magic stuff appearing out of nowhere and ending battles in forced ways. But heck, it was not terrible. SOUND SECTION: 6 [Ah, the children of the night! What a lovely song they make. (Count Dracula)] Lol, they included some creepy sounding Hungarian words from time to time in an attempt to make the story scarier. Too bad the story is not horror and it felt silly… I understand that it is somewhat excused as many characters hail from Transylvania but this was all too stupid. I mean, here you have Hungarian speaking monsters fighting a happy-go-lucky loli with a squeaky voice that doesn’t miss the chance to show off her pantsu. Does that sound scary to you? Who thinks of all this stuff? Anyway, beyond all that, the voice acting is ok. Not great but the dialogues were not completely retarded like in other similar anime, like Ayakashi. Even the opening song is somewhat nice to stand. But nothing great in all as you hear the usual “I will protect you, you are pervert” all-time classic anime catchphrases. STORY SECTION: 4 [Here goes the story of 3 Eyes… I mean Persona 11… I mean… Oh, heck…] Ok, the lead in this story has a magic Geass Aeon eye that makes him the epicenter of the fate of the world (insert O’rly?! Owl here). Because there is this alternative dimension called Fate/Stay Red Night, ruled by Dark Hour Knights who want to kill him and prevent a magic girl from escaping her crystal prison. So, the lead must gather a team of supernatural teenagers called Persona Users Fragments, enter the dimension, fight mook Shadows Evil Spirits, and beat the baddies before it is too late. Kampai for innovation! As far as I want to give it some credit, the story follows the path mostly walk upon and thus it is obvious how it will turn out to be quite soon. For you see, even the supposed twist in the end is not really a twist if everyone else is using it in the exact same way for the past two decades. So, as any political correct series would do, it spends three episodes introducing the main characters and provides the basic story elements, then another six in power-uping and climaxing, then comes the all famous “I will now explain everything in a long monologue” episode, before the final battle occurs. Spoiler: Even the “have sex as power up” is not even original as most porn-related games with magic girls include it. Heck, even Fate/Stay Night had it… And it came out of nowhere! Stupid excuses for fan service! So, it is pretty standard and linear stuff. As for the ending? Spoiler: OMG, they pressed the reset button! Yes, that’s right, it’s like everything was magically restored and they all lived happily ever after... Even the dead ones! And I know it is ok to have everyone alive and well again, the world restored and happy-go-lucky stuff like that but that kills all the drama if everything is magically undone like this. CHARACTER SECTION: 4 [Look Yugi, a pair of pantsu attached to a woman.] Just like the story, the cast feels generic to the most part. Their personalities are nothing to write home about but they all have behaviors that are half-decent. The animators gave them nice mannerisms, so they all act and feel perky. But not that this makes them great. Trying to combine comedy and ecchi with horror and action is not that simple; so down to it they all feel more silly than nice. I mean, how many times can you find the naughty remarks of that student and the violent retribution from the girl next to him funny, before it gets repetitive and boring? Or how many pantsu are enough to flash in front of you before you stop caring about their drama? Also, I kinda liked how the scriptwriters had the guts to kill some of the cast. Yes, there are deaths of important characters, something that makes the story a lot more serious than it is. Too bad it all went to hell because of what happened in the end… So, no, the characters are too silly to care for a non-comedy-centered series such as this. VALUE SECTION: 3 [Been there, done that.] It is a very original and unpredictable story. Only newbies who haven’t watched anything else other than Pokemon have chances of liking this one. All the rest will most likely drop it, find it an average time-killer, or call their lawyer to prepare a sue speech concerning plagiarism. ENJOYMENT SECTION: 3 [Hm… I had a Déjà vu. Nah, it can’t be; the one it reminds me of is far better.] Spoiler: It basically has to do with the viewers’ expectations. If all you want is a predictable story, with somewhat lively characters and a reset button in the end just so we can have a forced happy ending (Clannad AF, I hate you), then you will surely enjoy this a lot more than I did. Because after all, all these visual novels and porn games need to give you the feeling that you get to have everything in the end. Villains buried, chicks in love with you, and all the evil in the world being undone and the allies resurrected by the Dragonballs. And I don’t like that… SUGGESTION LIST Persona 3 (the game; not that crappy Trinity Soul anime)
