It's been 5 whole eps without anyone dying!

Bit surprised they seem to be going into real battle already though. I imagine that it'll be under fairly careful conditions since it is a test unit after all - unlike what we saw in eps 1-2.

Still, plenty to go wrong...

Thought I'd link this, it's some insight into the purpose of episodes 6 and 7 a.k.a. intermission 01 and 02 by someone who's been translating interviews and tweets and such and who also shed some light on the novel chapters corresponding to episodes 3 to 5.

And here, for the last 2 weeks or so, people are complaining/worrying about the series going downhill, or not delivering like they expect it to, just because of these 2 "intermission" episodes.....

Whelp, as long as the ensuing gore is GLORIOUS and not some moe-eaten sod, it shall be forgiven.

I might be wrong, but I think many people who posted here for the last week didn’t complain or worry about this series going downhill in the future. Instead, they (me included) only criticized these so-called “intermission” episodes which poorly written/executed. Thus, considering that the link DoomRavager provided very much confirm that the “beach chapters” intention is more or less to buy some time for the writer, all the previous criticism towards these “beach episodes” are rather justified (even more).
