Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Tsugumi Part 19 (a.k.a "Whoops, I F***ed Up"):

-I decided to stop her. Takeshi volunteers to go himself, saying she's always putting herself in danger, both with the generator incident and the pipe incident, and says "now it's my turn". She says she told him not to bother with her, and he says "You're wrong! You're our friend!" Tsugumi scoffs again, saying "I have no friends." (Sorry that I'm translating it as "friend"... I'm honestly lost what to call it. It's not exactly friendship, yet calling her comrade sounds too military-like... any ideas?)
-Takeshi insists. Tsugumi calls him a hypocrite again, and leaves the room. Takeshi is about to chase after her, but Sora says she's headed for the Infirmary. Takeshi wants to believe he got across to Tsugumi. Sora tells Takeshi she'll support him from the Control Room.
-He exits the room, and Sora appears on a small monitor in front of him. She guides him towards the pump room. She informs him the CO concentration is at 0.01%, which is still dangerous, as levels of 0.03% can give you severe headaches.
-He eventually reaches a dark hallways, and Sora says he's own his own from here on out. He arrives outside another hatch, but finds the lever to open it is burning hot. He realizes that the situation is the same as the generator room.
-He remembers You's earlier lecture about temperatures the human body can withstand. He remembers Sora mentioned another route earlier, so he goes back. After discussing the alternate route with Sora, he decides to take it. He follows Sora's instructions.
-Sora tells him he's entering an "Unknown Area", an area her "eyes" can't see due to some signal coming from it blocking it out (I think). He opens the door, only to find sparks flying up in the hallway. He closes the door, and retreats again.
-He tells Sora about the situation, and says she now understands. She says the cause is that the cables in the ceiling used for the plant were cut, causing the sparks, and this is why she can't see there.
-He tries to think of a way to deal with it, even proposing they use rubber. After talking a bit about the plants, Takeshi remembers Sora mentioning the pure water, and (I didn't mention this before) about how it doesn't conduct electricity. He asks Sora to use the sprinklers with pure water to flood the hallway.
-She says it'll take five minutes, but ask if he'll be all right. He mentions how he swam about 40 meters (131 feet) in high school without breathing.

-Okay, at this point, it felt like it was getting too Takeshi x Sora for me, so I went back and played through the choices again. Indeed, I made a mistake earlier on Day 4, where Takeshi spoke to Tsugumi. I should have picked the other option, as it lead a completely different conversation between the two. Also, the conversation in the plant changed, not to mention they walked back together from the plant. Finally, when Tsugumi left the room, Takeshi went after her. However, as my roomate is sleeping, I have no time to read any of this. So I'm going to start over from the Infirmary on Day 4 next time and take it from there. Just ignore the earlier parts.

Man, it feel odd to browse this thread, see spoiler tags and have to hold myself back from clicking them. So I'm guessing there are differences in more than just Coco's route but scattered around in everyone's route?

How do I put this... basically, while the overall plot is still the same and most of the major events from the original still happen, the dialogue, descriptions, and sequence of events are pretty much completely different. Several events have been removed while a bunch of new ones have been added.

Oh shoot, those are some more drastic changes than I thought. Can you give some examples of removed events? It'd be kind of funny to hear that they just toss Kick the Can out the window from complications.

Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Tsugumi Part 20 (a.k.a "Now we're back on track!" End-game spoilers):

-Okay then, time to load back to- wait, that doesn't sound cool enough... *ahem* By the powers invested in me as Blick Winkel, I invoke the Third Eye to travel back to the Infirmary on May 4th, 2017, when Tsugumi woke up!
-Okay, so I don't know why I missed it the first time, but the other option is "Express your joy that she's all right." Wow, I must have been really tired if I missed that.
-Takeshi starts welling with emotion, cries, and tells Tsugumi just how glad he is that she's all right. His sentences come out it in fragments as he talks about what happened. He finishes it with "I'm really grateful... really glad that you're alive." He then thanks Tsugumi for saving him and Coco so many times.
-Tsugumi replies with disinterest, saying she wanted to die. Takeshi gets mad at that, and says "It's absolutely wrong for you to think that!", as he assumes she wanted to die because their current situation seems hopeless. He says it may seem hopeless, but if they keep living, they'll find hope.
-Tsugumi replies "Hope is just an illusion. Despair will always crush you! It's because we're alive that we taste despair!" Takeshi's response that while it may be true that life is full of despair and sadness, there is just as much hope and joy. Tsugumi then basically calls him naive, saying there is no hope or joy in the workd, and that life is like an endless nightmare you can't wake from.
-Takeshi argues that she's just thinking too negatively, as one's view of the world can change, while Tsugumi counters that his way of seeing the world is different because he doesn't understand it. Tsugumi continues to basically say they are too naive to understand the world, and they reject things they don't like about the world. She asks (rhetorically) "why"? and answers it's because they can't understand those things. She goes on, and whispers at the end "That's why you shouldn't give me a second thought."
-Takeshi realizes that Tsugumi's heart has been through some heavy despair, and wants to save her heart, wanting her to believe in hope again. He then tells Tsugumi:

Takeshi: "Tsugumi. You said there's no hope, right?"
Tsugumi: "None. Only despair."
Takeshi: "Then let's have a contest."
Tsugumi: "A contest?"
Takeshi: "I win if I prove you wrong and save everyone. If that happens, then you'll believe that hope definitely exists."
Tsugumi: "... Then if I win, you will have to realize that there's nothing but despair in this world."
Takeshi: "Sure, but that's highly unlikely."
Tsugumi: "Why's that?"
Takeshi: "Because I'll definitely save everyone! I will definitely protect everyone! No one will die!"
Tsugumi: "... (smiles) I understand... I understand quite well... that you're a hypocrite."

Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Tsugumi Part 21 (end-game spoilers):

-Takeshi leaves the Infirmary, and encounters Sora. She said she was going to try to talk to Tsugumi, but Takeshi says she probably won't talk the way she is now. He then remembers Tsugumi's words, and swears he'll win the bet, still angry about what happened.
-Sora is surprised by his shouting, and so he apologizes, and thinks to himself he needs to come up with a way to keep everyone alive. He then asks Sora about the routes to Drittestock, which she confirms are all flooded because the pumps aren't working. They decide to hold a meeting about possible escape routes. This time, Takeshi and Sora don't go to the aquarium.
-Back to stuff I've already read, up until the pool scene. After he tells everyone he met with Tsugumi, he mentions the meeting, and that there might be a route, though nothing's certain yet. You expresses relief that there's still hope in the fact that they might have more choices.
-Fast forward. At the choice, I changed it to the "goddess" choice. After a bit of talking, You tells the story of Pygmalion. After it's over, Takeshi asks, "What was so 'happily ever after' about it? He then says how he finds the story a bit creepy with Pygmalion just locking himself up in his room, staring at his own statue, and wishing it were a real woman, and says he sees nothing happy about it.
(Does that make Pygmalion the world's first otaku?)
You just goes "Tsk, tsk, tsk, you just don't get it." She then explains how it's supposed to be romantic, and Kaburaki and Coco are impressed. She then explains the Pygmalion effect (basically, the higher the expectations placed on people, the better they'll perform).
-Fast forward. Everything's the same up until Takeshi goes running to the plant to get Tsugumi. He thinks she's trying "to run away from the bet", and so he declares to himself he'll save her no many how many times it takes.
-At the plant, Takeshi calls out Tsugumi's name. He finds her quickly, and expresses relief. She tells him not to approach her. He complies, and tells her they should head back. She tells him to leave her alone, but he says he can't do that, and asks why she went to the plant. She refuses to answer, and glances at the tank behind her.
-Takeshi looks at the tank, but can't see anything out of the ordinary. When he tries to get a closer look and ask Tsugumi what it is, she tells him to stay away. When he ignores that, she screams "DON'T GET ANY CLOSER!" He then hears the sound of small footsteps.
-She keeps shouting at him as he follows her. He repeats he can't leave her alone. She leaves the plant, and he follows her. She runs, but he still keeps up with her. He says running with her like this reminds him of when they first met. She says, "I don't see how it's related to a body blow."
-Takeshi replies he was talking about when they were trapped together and walked together through LeMU, but then stops and thinks about Tsugumi's words. He thinks that he did receive a body blow from Myun Myun, and realizes Kaburaki couldn't have been in the suit at the time because he was talking to Coco, so he wonders how Tsugumi knew about that. He finally connects the dots.
-Takeshi says "So you were the one in the suit?" Tsugumi replies "What of it?" Takeshi replies, "Then I shall get my revenge right here, right now!" Tsugumi's response is pretty much "Try it if you like." Takeshi decides not to, saying this isn't the time or place.
-He suddenly remembers her leg, and is shocked to see it's healed. After pondering over what could be going on, he says, "It's like a miracle happened..." Tsugumi then slaps him, saying "It's no miracle, just a nightmare." She then leaves.
-Fast forward. Same up until You sees the slap and suggests Takeshi and Tsugumi were up to "something". Tsugumi just says "He said something stupid."

Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Tsugumi Part 22 (end-game spoilers):

-Fast forward up to when Tsugumi leaves the Control Room. Unlike last time, Takeshi follows her. He says he'll go with her too, but she says she has her own things this time, and won't be needing a keycard. Takeshi asks, "then what about ballast?" After a brief silence, Tsugumi just says, "Do what you like."
-As they travel, Takeshi notes that like always, she seems to know the way. Suddenly, Tsugumi stops, noting that while the pump room is up ahead, Sora can't scan there. Takeshi says he'll go ahead and check it out. Tsugumi says, "True, I might need a canary this time." Takeshi doesn't get it.
-Takeshi opens the doors, and is right outside the pump room door. Just as he's about to try the lever, Tsugumi asks, "How's it look?" Takeshi goes back to her and says it seems fine. Tsugumi asks if he has a headache, dizziness, or shortness of breath. When Takeshi says no, Tsugumi says it should be safe, and goes ahead.
-Tsugumi looks at the door, and asks Takeshi to remember the generator room. Realizing what she means, Takeshi stretches his hand out to the lever, and can feel the heat from it. Takeshi wonders how Tsugumi realized it, and they go off in the other route.
-They silently walk through the halls of the upper level. Takeshi wonders what Tsugumi's thinking about. He wonders exactly what Tsugumi is trying to find in "this nightmare she calls life." Tsugumi tells him to stop staring at her, and he apologizes.
-They arrive at the electrified hallway. They both agree it seems impossible to get through. Takeshi remembers Tsugumi saying she wanted to die, and he remembers his resolve to save Tsugumi from despair, and starts trying to think of a way to get through.
-He suggests shutting off the electricity, but Tsugumi reminds him of the blackout, and that they can't use the EI elevators this time. He then remembers You's lectures about temperatures the human body can take, how they can last about five minutes in a 100 Celsius environment, or the 400 Farenheit experiment in the USA.
-Takeshi then shouts that there's still hope, and we get a cut to the hallway outside the pump room, where Takeshi tells Tsugumi to wait (after having presumably explained his plan to her off-screen). She asks "Are you serious? Are you really that stupid?" Takeshi says it is stupid, but it's the only thing he can think of. He then tells her to believe that there's hope if it works.
-He goes to the pump room, and opens the door, despite the lever burning his hands. The hatch opens to another hallway, where it's boiling hot inside. He sweats and starts panting, but keeps going. However, it gets rather taxing.
-He hears Tsugumi asking if he's all right, and sees that she's coming along with him. Takeshi regains his willpower, and resumes walking. The heat starts getting to Tsugumi, prompting Takeshi to ask "Are you all right?" She answers, "I could ask the same of you." They support each other as they walk, and Takeshi can smell Tsugumi.
-Takeshi mentions Tsugumi smells nice, and she says "What the hell are you saying at a time like this!?" He says it's because it's a time like this, and they get back to their hope/despair discussion. He says "If this is a nightmare, you'll wake up someday, won't you?"

Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Tsugumi Part 23 (end-game spoilers):

-They finally arive at the hatch to the pump room, where they fix it up and start the procedure. Takeshi says it was thanks to Tsugumi coming along that he was able to make it here, and thanks her. She says she didn't come to help him, just that she wanted to go to the lower floor.
-They return to the Infirmary, and rest for a bit. Takeshi notes that You still looks a bit pale, but she insists she's fine. Sora reports there are no problems with the route to Drittestock, so You says they should get a move on.
-On their way, Tsugumi lets out what sounds like a gasp/shriek, and everyone turns to her, asking what's wrong. Blushing, Tsugumi says it's nothing. They say that was not nothing, but Tsugumi just says to leave her alone. After a lot of prodding, she admits she was just startled by a drop of water that hit her on the back of her neck. She goes "hmph" and keeps walking.
-They finally arrive at Drittestock. Takeshi remarks they can finally escape now. Sora begins to explain about the area (per her habit as a guide) but Takeshi says just to tell them where the Cosmic Whale is, and she complies. Everyone is headed there with excited faces.
(Okay game, what's the catch?)
-They finally arrive... only to find the whale sub is gone. Everyone is down, and Sora is shocked, since they definitely saw the sub on the monitor on the first day, but mentions ever since the explosion at the plant, she's had trouble getting information.
-Everyone is depressed, and Takeshi wonders what his expression is like. He looks at Tsugumi, who's as stoic as ever. He remembers their bet, and realizes if he gives up here, he really will be a hypocrite. He vows that the contest isn't over yet. He pounds his fist into the wall.

Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Tsugumi Part 24 (end-game spoilers):

-Takeshi tells the others there's still time until LeMU collapses, saying it's too early to fall into despair. You agrees, praising Takeshi. She then asks Sora about the Control Room in Drittestock, who confirms it's still safe, and they head there to check out the situation.
-Sora concludes that at 3:17 P.M. yesterday, someone or something used the Cosmic Whale and escaped, but she doesn't have full data due to the jamming. Upon hearing "someone else", Takeshi says they're the only ones supposed to be in LeMU. He then thinks back to the life scans, and says there were six detected.
-Kaburaki remembers there were two life signs in the water, and that there was someone left behind after all. You thinks that could be true, and Coco expresses relief that those two people were saved. Takeshi agrees a bit, but still thinks "what about us?"
-Takeshi asks about the Cosmic Whale. It's revealed there were two Cosmic Whales- "Andromeda" and "Jonathan". Andromeda is the one that's gone, but Jonathan is still there- though it's in the maintanence room, which is flooded. Sora says they can drain that, but it'll take 12 hours.
-Sora explains it wasn't working to well (or something) and says that Jonathan still isn't fully repaired. Takeshi asks if they can repair it, and Sora says yes, since they still have the repair parts and the manual, and it'll take about a day.
-Takeshi sighs, and then realizes he hasn't eaten lunch. He looks at his watch, and sees it's 8:17 P.M. You asks Sora to bring up a map of Drittestock, and after she looks at it, You suggests they eat. Coco says "Yay!" but Takeshi notices that Tsugumi is still looking at the map, and seems to be thinking about something.
-Takeshi asks if she's coming, and Tsugumi's stomach chooses to growl at that moment. She goes, "H-Hmph" and walks away with a blush.
-At Drittestock, they find a gift shop, which has a lot of whale and jellyfish plush toys, along with the usual gift shop goods. Takeshi looks around for food, and looks at the various stuff they sell, including a lot of MyunMyun stuff, slightly irritating him.
-You comes up to him. He asks why they sell tanukis, and You informs him MyunMyun is a lemur, not a tanuki. She tells him about Philip Sclater, who proposed the idea of Lemuria, which he named after lemurs since he was puzzled why their fossils were so scattered around, and believed there must have been a continent there that was lost. She starts to explain about the myth of Lemuria.
-Just then, Coco calls You away. Before she goes, she tells Takeshi if he's interested, there's an attraction in Drittestock that has a replica of Lemuria and explains it. Takeshi then sees something about cosplay outfits, and thinks he sees Tsugumi's outfit in there, but realizes it's different.
-He then has a brief fantasy about Tsugumi in a maid outfit, acting like a typical waitress in a maid cafe. He then shakes off the image, thinking "No... that doesn't match Tsugumi's image at all..." He then goes back to his fantasy, and this time imagines Tsugumi acting as a Tsundere maid waitress (saying typical, cliched Tsundere things).
(Boy, do I WISH I was making this up...)
-When he snaps out of it, the real Tsugumi is in front of him. Takeshi sighs, thinking it's useless.

Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Tsugumi Part 25 (end-game spoilers):

-Takeshi notices that Tsugumi has macadamia nuts and almonds. Thinking he's staring at her because of those, she shouts that she loves those things, and leaves.
-After getting their food, they go to the Staff Room in Drittestock, and eat. You says not that that's done, they should go to the hot springs. Takeshi is surprised, thinking there's a hot springs so deep underwater, and You says they're famous for a hot spring, which they advertize in commercials.
(I would say this doesn't belong in an Infinity game... were it not for the fact that there WAS a hot springs scene in Never7.)
-She says they should do it since they've all had a hard day, but informs Takeshi there's no mixed bathing. Takeshi tells her he won't get any ideas (to her doubt). He tries to bring up the repairs, but she tells him to forget about it for now and just relax. He agrees, though he thinks to himself You's suggested it just because she wants to do it herself.
-We see the hot springs, which actually look quite pleasant. There's several pools, three artificial trees, a glass window overlooking the ocean, and a picture of Mount Fuji. Takeshi relaxes, closing his eyes and Kaburaki, who's in there with him, tells him he's going out. Takeshi then keeps his eyes close for a while
(And then when he wakes up, he has to play a game where he must avoid the girls- oh, wait, wrong game)
-He finishes up, and returns to the Staff Room (surprise, a hot springs scene without fanservice!), having some coffee. He then plans to go to sleep, but he feels someone is inside the Control Room when he passes it, and decides to check.
-It's Tsugumi, who's checking the map, zoomed into a particular section. Takeshi notices the life sign indicators are turned on. She zooms into a small life sign, and sighs in relief. Takeshi says "that was a mouse, wasn't it?" Tsugumi is silent, then whispers, "a Djungarian hamster." (jangarian hamusta), which Takeshi mishears as "potato ham." (jagaimo hamu), which Tsugumi yells the name out as a response.
-Takeshi asks why Tsugumi is looking for a hamster, or what it's doing here.

Tsugumi: "It's... my..."
Takeshi: "Pet?"
Tsugumi: "... No..."
Takeshi: "Friend?"
Tsugumi: "... No."
Takeshi: "Companion?"
Tsugumi: "..."

-Takeshi realizes whatever it is, it's important to Tsugumi, and says he'll get it, saying she was probably going to do so herself. Tsugumi tries to to tell him not to, but he insists, saying it'll be easier if they team up. He'll go after the hamster while Tsugumi stays in the Control Room and informs him of changes via earphone. She agrees.
-Just as Takeshi is about to go, Tsugumi asks why he's doing this. He says he's keeping up his end of the bet to "save everyone". Tsugumi calls him an idiot. He then goes out to the hallway, and contacts Tsugumi via earphone.

Takeshi: "Tsugumi, can you hear me?"
Tsugumi: "What is it?"
Takeshi: "Oh good, I can hear you properly."
Tsugumi: "So, what is it?"
Takeshi: "... Where should I be going?"
Tsugumi: "..."
Takeshi: "Tsugumi, what's wrong? If you're there, answer me."
Tsugumi: "... Idiot. You're a genuine idiot! You ran out without even knowing that!?"'

-Takeshi says he moved before he could think. Tsugumi sighs, and says she'll guide him with the monitors.

Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Tsugumi Part 26 (end-game spoilers):

-Takeshi has to go up and down various staircases. However, he finds one he must go down to is flooded. She tells him to swim. Takeshi speaks in disbelief, asking if a hamster can really be there. Tsugumi explains he must have used the air ducts. Takeshi approaches the water, and hesistates for a moment.
-Tsugumi tells him that's enough, and she'll head over there. Takeshi says no, he's just getting prepared, and Tsugumi tells him he'll have to swim to a staircase that's 51 meters (167 feet- Hirameki got it wrong when they said it was 153 feet) away, filled with cold, flooded water. Takeshi thinks if he can make it.
-Tsugumi asks if he's okay, and he replies, "Oh, so you're worried about me?" She angrily replies no. Takeshi tells her the farthest he's swam was 40 (131 feet) meters in high school, so 11 (37) more should be fine. Tsugumi says, "Wait! I really... should go." Takeshi replied, "You're that worried about me?" Tsugumi: "Don't misunderstand me!" Takeshi then says he'll dive, and does so.
-Takeshi starts really losing breath at 30 meters, but urges himself to keep going. At 40, he feels like he's going to pass out, and his eyes close. He remembers everyone's faces in order of Kaburaki, Coco, You, and Sora (he also mentions Pipi), and then Tsugumi. He imagines them all sad and full of despair. He tells himself he was going to make Tsugumi realize there's hope in the world, and he opens his eyes and keeps going.
-He finally makes it. After catching his breath, he hears Tsugumi yelling into the earphone, "Hey! Can you here me!? Give me a reply!" When he calls her name, she asks if he's all right, and says yes. However, she tells him to take a short break, and he agrees.
-After his break, he enters a warehouse, where the signal is coming from. He calls out, "Hey, Hamster!" Tsugumi says not to call him that, call him by his name. He asks what its name is, and she quietly says it's "Chami". When Takeshi goes "huh?", she shouts that his name is Chami, which hurts Takeshi's ears.
-He calls out Chami, who appears. Takeshi grabs him, and Tsugumi expresses relief that he's okay. Takeshi places Chami in a plastic bag, and goes back the way he came. He gets through easier this time, knowing he's responsible for more than just his own life this time.
-When he emerges, he sees Tsugumi is waiting for them with a concerned face. Takeshi gives her back Chami, and we see the Chami-Tsugumi CG. Takeshi just stares, overwhelmed by how happy she looks. She then blushes, asking what he's staring for. He says "no reason", and she goes back to looking at Chami.
-On their way back, Takeshi think he should go back to the hot spring one more time. Tsugumi says "Thank you..." and Takeshi just says "You're welcome."
-Afterwards, Takeshi goes to bed.
-End Day 4. 55 hours remain.

Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Tsugumi Part 27 (end-game spoilers):

-Day 5
-In his sleep, Takeshi has a strange dream about being swallowed by darkness. In the middle of it, a voice suddenly interrupts, saying "Wake up, Onii-chan!" Takeshi just rolls in his sleep, and the voice then decides to wake him by pouring something into his nose.
-Takeshi wakes up abruptly, seeing it was Coco who woke him up by pouring mustard into his nose. Takeshi is upset at her for waking him up like that. As he washes his face, he's still upset at her.
(BTW, there's a mirror in the bathroom. Let's see how Hokuto's Routes get around that.)
-You chews Takeshi out for sleeping in despite their time limit. Takeshi admits he's ashamed of himself. You tells him to eat quickly so they can work on repairs. Takeshi eats a chikuwa (tube shaped fish cake) that Coco prepared for him (with her blend sauce), which is surprisingly good.
(Ah, so that's why Sara likes chikuwa!)
-Takeshi notes Tsugumi's not there. You mentions she saw her earlier in the Control Room, looking at the map, and she left after You called out to her, but doesn't know where she went afterwards.
-You gives him the Cosmic Whale repair manual, which is huge. Suddenly, Takeshi sneezes towards You. He wonders if it's from the mustard or from swimming through the water last night.
(Or could it be a foreshadowing to his TB?)
-You asks Takeshi to take care of the repairs for now, saying she wants to check something. Takeshi remembers You is looking into her dad, and agrees. Just as he's about to read the manual, the lights flicker.
-However, nothing happens. The others wonder just what happened. Takeshi thinks they should call up Sora, but You says she's in the middle of maintenance. Noting that Sora's been having problems getting data over the last few days, they wonder if there's a problem with LEMMIH.
-Takeshi, Kaburaki, and Coco go to do repairs. Coco is acting like a military captain, with Kaburaki and Takeshu playing along (reminiscent of Yomogi and Yuni doing this in Remember11 at one point). The arrive at the warehouse, and get the repair parts.
-During her roleplay, Coco's body suddenly starts shaking. She says she's feeling a little ill. Takeshi tells Kaburaki to take Coco and head back for the Infirmary, while telling You in the Control Room that they have the parts. Kaburaki agrees.
-Takeshi takes the parts and heads for the maintenance room (!!! This is the room where Sara was pointing a gun at Tsugumi in that CG!). It looks like a sub bay, with "Jonathan" just sitting there. It looks kinda like the one in IBF, actually.
-Takeshi goes to the sub and begins repairs. While working, he wonders what Tsugumi's up to and why he hasn't seen her. Kaburaki then arrives to help him out. He says they gave Coco some medicine and put her to bed, and You said it might be a cold.
-Kaburaki then begins helping. They finish repairs, and both shout "Yay!" (in English, yes). Takeshi gives Kaburaki a high-five. However, Takeshi notices that the screen is black, and realizes there's no battery power. The two plug cables into the sub to charge it. Takeshi checks the time, and sees it's 12:17 P.M. He realizes their time limit is 42 hours, 43 minutes, and it'll take 24 hours to charge fully.
-On their way back, Takeshi wonders where Tsugumi is. They go to the Control Room, where You is screaming in frustration. She seems to be yelling at the computers, (probably because she can't get in). When Takeshi gets her attention and tells her the repairs are done, she thanks them.

Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Tsugumi Part 28 (end-spoilers):

-Takeshi asks about Coco, and You says she has a bit of a fever, and wonders if it's a cold. Takeshi asks if they can't just do a scan on her to be safe, but You tells them with LEMMIH still in maintanence, they can't do that yet. Takeshi asks about it's maintanence, and You says it's 85% done, so it'll probably be about another hour. You hopes for a change in fortune, reciting a Japanese chant.
-When explaining the origins of the chant, You brings up how it's related to the story of Urashima Taro (which was changed to Rip Van Winkle in the English translation. For those of you who don't know, the story of Urashima Taro is very similar to Rip Van Winkle's, only Taro is gone for 300 years instead of 20).
-She then goes bringing up SF authors, causing Takeshi to wonder what those two even have in common. She then says that Urashima Taro must have gone to Lemuria, as it was said the Lemurians can see the future (or something like that), and that Lemuria was a power spot (look it up).
("I CAN SEE THE FUTURE!" Sorry, couldn't help it.)
-She continues to discuss the theories about the Lemurians. After she finishes, she says she's going to refresh in the hot springs. Takeshi mentions the Tamatebako from the story, and You says it's like Schrodinger's Cat. She then leaves.
-Kaburaki is silent, and looks pale. He then shouts the chant, as he says he was thinking of something bad. Takeshi and Kaburaki then go to the gift shop and get food. Kaburaki splits from him there, saying he's going to give Coco food. Takeshi agrees.
-After eating, Takeshi decides to go find Tsugumi, since Sora isn't around to check for him. He finally arrives at the Qualle (whose entrance actually looks similar- it's still a cavern, though now with a walkway across water instead of being on the ground).
-He finds Tsugumi. Takeshi tells her that the repairs are done, and that there still was hope after all. He thinks back to their conversations on depair and hope, still wanting to believe Tsugumi can be saved.
-After Tsugumi tells Takeshi about the Qualle, Takeshi offers that they should go on together. After thinking it over, Tsugumi goes "Sure, why not". They get on, and after initial darkness, Takeshi can sea underwater.
-Incidentally, the Qualle itself doesn't look like a jellyfish anymore. It's jellyfish shaped, but it's much more mechanical looking. Instead of benches, there are chairs, and the floor is much wider. Overall, it's built to seat at least 10-20 people instead of 2-4.
(Which gives them a lot more room for when... "that" happens.)
-Takeshi mentions how he hasn't seen the sun, and Tsugumi says "I... hate the sun." Takeshi wonders what they should talk about. Takeshi notices she's staring around the ocean, and asks what she's looking at. More silence. Takeshi thinks to himself that the atmosphere is extremely awkward.
-He finally asks about Chami, and Tsugumi brings him out. Takeshi asks, "Where are you keeping him anyway?" She replies "It's a secret". Takeshi then introduces himself to Chami.
-Takeshi asked if she named him "Chami" after his ears (in Japanese, brown is "chairo" and ears are "mimi", though he does note Chami's ears are actually white) but Tsugumi says no, she named him Chami because he's charming. Takeshi desperately tries to hold back his laughter, thinking Tsugumi has no naming sense.
(... On the other hand, maybe it's for the best that we never learned Hokuto and Sara's real names...)

Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Tsugumi Part 29 (end-game spoilers):

-Takeshi says Chami is a "cute and good name". Embarrassed, Tsugumi says that if he's got something to say, then he should just flat out say it. Takeshi then has another fantasy, this time of Tsugumi babying Chami (calling him "Chami-chan" and talking to him like one would with a baby). He laughs out loud.
-Tsugumi yells, demanding to know what's so funny. The ride goes on, and Takeshi remarks how he'd forgotten this was supposed to be a fun place. Tsugumi says "Wrong. It's not that kind of place. It's a place where despair is born... that's why..." She then falls silent. Takeshi wants to know what she meant by those words. Choice time.
-I decided to ask Tsugumi what she meant. She says it doesn't concern him, and he wouldn't even understand, and talking about it will just dampen then mood. The gondola shakes for a second (it's going to be shaking a lot more later on, that's for sure) and Takeshi looks outside.
-Tsugumi then gets into the discussion about "where is the current you?" from the original. She mentions his nails, then yanks his hair, pulling some out to discuss her point. She then pushes him to the ground when she gets to the part about his arm. He tells her to stop, then she switches the topic to human's cells. After talking about how cells die and are replaced, she asks him again, "Where are you right now?" He can't answer.
-Tsugumi decides to switch the topic again. She gets off of Takeshi, and asks if he believes in vampires. After describing their characteristics, she asks "so do you believe vampires are humans?"

Takeshi: "Uh... what? ... U-Umm... At the start, you said they were unaging, immortal monsters, right? So that'd make them monsters, right?"
Tsugumi: "Yes, I certainly did say that... Then what about a human bitten by a vampire? Is the body that has become a vampire still a human's? Do you think they would be a human, or a monster?"

Choice time.
