1. On the bright side, J-SaiMoe 2011 is wide open now. If Misaka's win over Homura had been an accurate reflection of her true strength, then logically she should have been invincible against any Madoka Magica girl, and almost impossible for any remaining non-Madoka girl to beat. Given that Misaka clearly wasn't really that strong, and given that she's now out, it's going to be pretty wide open between the four remaining Madoka World Order members, Kanade, Kuroneko, and Ika. Now I think Madoka Magica has a decent chance of one of its representatives winning it all. What will be interesting, and what part of me honestly hopes for, is to see an all-Madoka Magica match-up at some point (although I don't like Sayaka's chances in that, so I hope she in particular avoids that as long as possible). Madoka vs. Mami could be very interesting, and I'd love to see it happen. 2. On the negative side, this royally sucks for Homura and Victorique fans. It now seems clear that Homura should still be around...

Ah this is the thing I love about Saimoe. You say something about it, then it explodes all over your face, leaving you dripping white told.
I'm so glad about this result, yet I know it's just Saimoe prepping itself for a 4 Madoka semifinals.

The discovery of foul play involved in Mikoto's matches is big news, indeed. How can one like her who was until now considered so powerful and mighty go down so fast? I want a certain fallen favorite of mine back!
Oh, the despair. If they could, people with Homura as their #1 would turn into witches now.

It got me thinking though, if this happened to Mikoto then there's no reason not to suspect some of the other girls might have multi votes as well... Maybe nobody is as strong as we thought

Im laughing so much right now.
However Chaos2Frozen makes a good point, there is no reason why Mikoto wasnt the only character with people taking advantage of this multi-voting. Madoka vs LC will show if they also were being bloated or not.

Wow, well... yeah, I was wondering about Biribiri ever since the prelims. Thought it was just a fluke in prelims or people didn't care (thinking meh, she'll get in so it doesn't matter to show off now), but now that people have turned her into a cheat.. all makes sense now XD; I do wish they would have rematches in her brackets but doubt it'll happen.
I wonder who else is being made out to be a cheater.... somehow I really don't think Madoka girls have been, considering it's hype at the moment. I feel that the rest of the votes may be real. |

Looking back, Round 2 showed Mikoto's real strength. PMMM's team, except for Madoka, have been all been crushing victories in every match whereas Mikoto usually stayed only about 100 ahead to win.
Anyway... Spoiler for what?:
Bets: Tenshi in a squeaker

All I can say for the results are the following is this:
1. Anyone else think that we'll have a repeat of 2005, with Toaru as either MY-HiME or Negima, Madoka Magica as Rozen Maiden, and some other show as Nanoha? 2. If Biribiri's defeat was indeed a Madoka Magica attack, could we be seeing some revenge tactics in the next few days (especially with Index vs. Kyouko)?

Hmmmm.
Numbers get more and more pathetic. One wonders if there was cheating, if the committee (or whatever) just decided to block a region again that trended towards one character or another, or if just some random news effected the voters into not voting. No matter what, the number of voters total is entirely pathetic for a group final. Even ISML 08's voter base was pushing those numbers before Double Elimination.
