Oh, and i think RAW's usually don't stay up for long, so finding RAWs for older series will be almost impossible. |

Looking for Juuni Kokki
I know that Juuni Kokki: Twelve Kingdoms is pretty old, but I haven't heard of it until now. I was hoping if anyone has the episodes from 34 to the end (episode45 I think), and willing to distribute it to me. I can pay by check, money order, or by paypal. I couldn't find it a media blasters(the ones who liscensed it) so this is my last resort...

The anime is from 2002, that's not old. And it is avaible on Media Blaster's website.
http://www.media-blasters.com/genres...W=988&ScrH=732 It's a ways down. Just do a search for kingdom in iexplorer. Ep 31-35 is in their upcoming releases section. http://www.media-blasters.com/upcomi...W=988&ScrH=732 I feel for you, as Twelve Kingdoms is pretty addictive, but unfortunately you'll have to wait. |

What???

Regardless, it is available in English, and thus people tend to stop subbing it. Its far from unavailable to those who want it in other countries. Basically its available to purchase in a language you can read, if it wasn't then people might take it up and fansub it.

I see where you are coming from and can totally understand your anger about American licensing. If I lived in Finland or some country in which anime is never/rarely licensed in, then it isn't fair to me if anime licensed in America is no longer made available by fansub. On the other hand, if anime is fansubbed after the license, then viewers in other countries are happy but Americans can get these fansubs just as easily, and the companies like ADV get out their weapons of war (lawyers).
The issue here is that anime should be made available based on a global community, not just American. If there was a way to trace IP addresses to determine country of origin and use that to allow downloading of fansubs, that might be one thing, but there are issues with that as well, like IP spoofing. Ok I've blabbed enough |
