So? Disney XD is just a retooled Jetix and Jetix has been owned by Disney for years. In fact, various Jetix stations across the world have been showing Naruto for years. So, it's not like it is big news that Disney is going to show Viz's dub of Naruto Shippuden (even if it is going to be shown in the US).

I do not personally see a reason for the thread, but by all means submit your case, maybe a Mod will see something I am missing...

I wonder if it's a good idea to create a poll and thread about the question if a new ninja war will break out.

We are now at manga chapter 464 and Danzou is in a quite bad situation. Will he try to create a big ninja war (the 4th big ninja war?) just to keep his hokage title? Many bad leaders try to create a war because that way instead of being kicked out of power they can even strengthen their position and become dictators of their countries. In a war crysis the opposition will not question the leader but will stand united and even give him more executive powers without asking what is he doing. Also if the enemy attacks the leader the whole nation will stand behind him, in this situation Danzou will be questioned by the other kages and the other kages would surely want that Danzou resigns from the hokage position. However if a war breaks out then konoha's top jounins will not oppose Danzou and they will not listen to what other countries say about Danzou.
Right now Danzou is under heavy pressure by both other kages and by konoha's top jounins. It seems his only way to remain hokage is if a war breaks out. His other option was to become the leader of "the war on terror", but his genjutsu backfired when he was discovered by Ao.

Another issue is that the villages are becoming stronger because Kishi introduced all the strong kages and their top ninjas while on the other hand most of akatsuki has been killed. So if there's no ninja war then i don't see where's the big danger that Naruto must stop. On one side there are all 5 villages and on the other side we have Madara, Sasuke, Kisame, Zetsu and some minor characters. I don't see how would this work, since even if new people join akatsuki still the combined forces of the 5 villages would be stronger. Madara himself does not look like a big threat, since until now he has only talked and in the past he always failed in everything he did (1st and 4th hokages beat him, his control of mizukage seems to be a failure whatever his goal was). Sasuke currently fighting against 2 of the 5 kages and is in big trouble, surely does not seem like a big threat to the world. The one being in big trouble is Sasuke, but it would be stupid if the whole story of this manga would become a "Naruto must save Sasuke" story. There's also the speech of Nagato and the old frogs about Naruto, so Naruto should care about the ninja world and not about Sasuke in the first place, which means that the story of the manga should not be about "the world vs Sasuke" but a more global and complex story. But for that to happen Danzou and Madara should drive the ninja world into a war, that is a conflict that's big enough to be solved by the main character

Whatever the case, I couldn't find any general threads concerning the various topics you have introduced, so if you could write up a clear and concise opening post(s), I would gladly start the thread(s) for you...unless you want your name on the OP, then you should PM a Mod

No, only one thread, it would be a thread about "Will a new great ninja war start?". In this thread people could discuss if a new ninja war would be good for the plot and characters, what would be the reasons for starting it (i wrote about 2 good reasons, those are in the spoiler part of the previous post, since they reveal events and characters from the manga).

Also a poll can be added (Yes/No) to the thread. Of course this would be a manga thread.

I don´t know. I kinda feel sorry for the anime-only fans. They can´t even read in something as basic as the "What was the disappointing thing / event in Naruto?"-thread. I know...my fault. :O

As it stands now, I almost think that we should just close all the individual Romance threads and just create one large thread dealing with every possible romance in the series. Because, in the end, every Hinata thread will focus on Sakura, and every Sakura thread will focus on Hinata, so just cut out the middle man and make one giant thread for everything...

That being said, for in universe fights, you can reappropriate [manga] What Fight would be the most interesting and do with it what you like...

Hey I´m seeing great potential in such a thread.
Starting from something as simple as comparing Naruto to Batman we will cross the topic of comparing powerlevels from different franchises as a whole, eventually ending up at really deep stuff like the current mentalitly of mangaka concerning powerlevels and stereotypes of characters and what the future may bring us. Which would be off topic, kind of.
