^Why do we need a singular thread to deal with "news" in the One Piece universe, when we already have a variety of threads dealing with all the aspects of the world. There are already Shichibukai, Yonkou, WG, Marines, Strawhats, New World, Supernova, etc threads, so there is no need for a new thread when all fo these threads suffice.

A what ability you wished the straw hat members had? Not including devil fruits. It can serve as a thread where you talk about current character flaws and also how they should be fixed, in a logical sense.

This thread is to duscuss the existance of devil fruit, how they work, and their origin.
We all know what devil fruit are, what they do, and how important they are.

What we dont know how ever is this.

-Where did they come from?? Are they a naturally occurring fruit on a far away island, or are they a mutation that occurs to fruit in nature?

- Marines have large(?) amounts of devil fruit at their disposal to give to those who need them, so is it possible that they make them, and occasionally some get to the public explaining how pirates have them and sell them for billions?

- We know eating these fruits gives the power to only one person after a single bite is taken, will eating multiple fruits grant you more power or will it simply have no effect?

-Does eating a logia fruit affect the persons body beyond being able to just become immune to physical damage? The fact that they cant alter their entire body like that may have a slight downside to it.

There's news of a new One Piece movie to be made in 3D.

"In the October 4th issue of “Weekly Shounen Jump“, it was revealed that Oda Eiichirou’s ‘ONE PIECE’ and Shimabukuro Mitsutoshi’s ‘Toriko’ will be releasing 3D films on March 19, 2011.

The 3D film for ‘ONE PIECE’, simply titled as ‘ONE PIECE 3D’, explains the story behind Luffy’s straw hat. ‘Toriko 3D’, on the other hand, will revolve around Toriko and his buddy Komatsu."

I really don't see a reason to start a thread about Oda. His writing habits, style, tone, etc are best described in a weekly thread, and his personal life has no reason to be discussed outside of specific anecdotes (best conveyed in a weekly thread) relevant to specific characters, scenes, etc.

If you wish to know about Oda, look for a biography. Otherwise, I see nothing of great importance to discuss that would require the creation of a new thread.

I don't see how the discussion of the mangaka is irrelevant to a forum that is supposed to be about his work.

I have a discussion between Oda and Inoue that is quite insightful and I would like to share with the forum and there is no place for me to do so.

Is there a problem with it?
