Surprised Sanji didn't die, but instead turned to stone. Those fish-men are idiots for tying up Luffy and the others. Luffy was awesome taking out Vander Decken while being tied up. Still he's not out of the picture yet. Looks like Luffy will have to have a real fight with him. So Nami is also heading to the Sea Forest. Yes Zoro cut Hordy in the water!

Haha, nice episode, and I like how Luffy calls Shirahoshi a coward xD lawl. Hordy and Vander Decken are no match for Luffy and Zoro.. No way man ¬_¬, Luffy is absolutely beastly when his in second mode and Zoro owns someone in their ground? Though I don't think the bosses is going to be Hordy/Van Decken, they're not at that level of facing the Straw Hat Crew atm..
So I'm guessing there is going to be a stronger person that is going to be in this Arc. Just have a feeling. That might be in the team with Hordy and Van Decken.. And another thing is, has Luffy master Haki at the level of Shanks and Whitebeard. It seems so cool how he just says sorry and then puts everyone unconscious. Note : If this is counted as a spoiler then I'm sorry, but its my opinion, never read the manga before.

That was epic of Luffy to beat Dekken while being tied up. However, I thought Luffy was strong enough to break the ropes with his own strenght. I wonder why he could not do it? Secondly, wouldn't he be able to anticipate people jumping on him with his haki?
Although, as far as I can remember, he is still developing his haki abilities.

I was afraid that prolonging the fight between Hody and Zoro in the anime would ruin the epic scene...and it didn't but it didn't have the same impact either. Plus in the manga, Zoro didn't seem to take ANY damage from Hody at all, the whole fight looked completely one-sided in the manga but in the anime, not so much.
I believe it was more Oda's way of showing us the difference between Decken and Luffy. If Luffy were actually at his best, it would only make sense that he would destroy Decken beyond repair...if that happened then what about the rest of the arc!? :P |

Chopper's drama about Sanji was just touching.
How could he ever resist to turn around?! Sanji's new love reaction was really interesting LOL Decken lost it too when he saw her, but that rejection was just crushing... Hody vs Zorro was impressive.

So far my impression of the fish man island arc is it's to show just how strong the Straw Hats have gotten since the 2 year time skip.
Luffy and Zoro winning their fights with practically no effort was great. I also loved the overly dramatic music playing when Sanji turned around to see the princess

I don't believe this to be a spoiler (since we all pretty much figured it out already by this point) but the Fishman Arc is more of a "Let's see how much they've grown before reaching the New World" arc. To put it simply, the things we've seen and will see could also be achieved two years before, although with much more effort on the Strawhats part.

Chopper could have removed the rope in seconds by transforming...but eh... I think Nami alone would be enough to beat the crap out of the both of them.... |

But it's pretty much safe to assume that the monster trio isn't really needed to solve this arc's problems so far, they just do because the SH need to display their growth better. I just can't wait for more Brook Spoiler for meh:
PS: Zoro said he was about to pass out, remember that he was underwater for a while so don't even think it was due to Hody doing damage...just lack of air |

Some of you guys really need to hold back with spoilers. Even if you think what you're posting does not spoil anything, some of it actually does. No wonder there's not much going on in this thread lately.
On topic: Is it just me, or is Megalo really annoying like crazy. I just don't know what it is. His voice or rather sounds are just so tedious. I didn't like the animation on Luffy's Haki either. It went to suddenly and, well, just barely animated enough. Also, I don't get why Usopp is still so scared about everyting. I guess it's just part of his character. It's not like I don't like this trait of his (because there are people who don't), I'm just somewhat surprised seeing him like a chicken in the latest episodes, when he's become rather powerful.

Figures Zoro couldn't fight properly with that much water in the palace. I wonder what the soldier meant about the Queen since she's dead already. Jimebi and Camie's reactions were great. Sanji is cured!
I think i always suspected Jimebi was the one who let Arlong go, but when shown with the flashback it just kind of hurts. It's a shame because Jimbei has become one of my favorite characters. He did thank and apologize for it, but i don't think Nami could ever forgive him.

Actually, Nami was able to forgive Hachi, so I am sure it is within her reason to forgive Jimbei as well. Jimbei may have let Arlong go, but Jimbei did not do the terror and devastation himself. Also, Jimbei did not say that he ordered Arlong to do all those things.
Anyway, I was surprised that Usopp gave up so easily. He did not even attempt to fight back. That was very strange, since he is supposedly a lot stronger now. Also, are they going to give Zoro oxygen? It would have been wiser to just let him drown to death. Also, I wonder why Dekken has resorted to throwing weapons again? Is he that scared of Luffy?
