DCFS is like DCSV+DCWS with some new stuff. A completely new route for Kotori and routes for the characters that didn't have any in either of those games.

It's a PS2 expansion/spin-off that combines both Summer Vacation and White Season, and adds a number of new scenarios (hence "four seasons"). Obviously, it also has the H scenes removed (with new CGs in their place), plus it uses the anime voice actors instead of the PC game ones. They haven't announced any plans to port it back to the PC, though (yet?).

Sounds like it isn't worth ordering the limited zOMG edition at ~$90 then. I thought that it may have been DCPS + the expansions. But looks like DCPS isn't too badly priced, so I may order that.

If anyone is interested/scared/worried/whatever, as Arkanos releases more routes, he won't ask anyone to upload a .avi of themselves dancing salsa on their packages and eating their manual. He'll make his releases public.

I dunno what the progression % on Tamaki's route is at now. Don't wanna put any pressure on him though, but I can ask if you guys are interested. I say 2 or 3 more months, perhaps.

Just curious.. is Koyomi-sensei one of the possible candidates? I mean, it's not uncommon for the male lead to have a crush on his female teacher in anime and such.. Not to mention she's the only age-apropriate girl for me personally.

Unfortunately, no. Koyomi-sensei is not one of the winnable girls. The closest you can get to her is when you go after her sister Kotori.

The Tamaki path is coming along but slow, Arkanos has been busy with work lately and before that he had an injured pinkie.

Anyone know why DCPC crashes for me at the start? It used to work fine, but after I reinstalled it, it refuses to start, even before applying the patch. I get past the screen selection but it crashes after that. Installing to a different drive didn't work.

hmm.. don't know -_-
Try to uninstall and 'shift+delete' all file in DCPC folder, restart, then install it again -_-
because it's 'used' to work fine, so, the problem is not from the installer

i just install the patch, but the english words r kind of screwed up

can any1 help me with this

edit: since the pic i made is not that great, the words r closed in and it is hard 2 read them sometimes and some r overlapping other letters

1. There's a topic for this already here. Next time use the search option right under the forum banner to check before starting a new topic.

2. Your PC needs to be running in Japanese locale. To do this, hit Start then Control Panel, then Regional and Language Options, choose the "Languages" tab and check "Install support for East Asian Languages". It'll ask for your XP disk if you haven't installed this already, and you may have to restart. Once you've done that, go back into Regional and Language Options, choose the Advanced tab and in the drop-down menu under 'Language for non-Unicode programs' choose Japanese. Hit OK. It'll tell you to restart, do so.

After that, it'll work fine. If you want to put your PC back out of Japanese locale, you'll need to change that last drop-down to English again. It doesn't affect much, just that slashes become Yen signs in file addresses. Least that's what it does to me.

Otherwise, enjoy. Oh, and not missing out half the letters in words would make your posts a lot easier to read. Thanks.
