Not a bad first episode. It did surprise me by having the brother truly go evil and basically everyone but the main character dying. The client is dead (presumably still get that insurance money), the parents were obviously dead from the start, and even the brother died. Only death can save someone who turned that evil. He killed his parents and only went back so he could gather allies to kill. That is impressively twisted. Never intended to go back or help his brother.
Will see how things turn out from here. The main duo seem...alright. Will have to see how they grow on me as time goes along. Seems like this black lightning stuff is pretty flexible like other creation powers that exist out there.

OK the main character's business is almost out of money, but they have a James Bond style command center and an operating helicopter and the MC has super powers. It seems a bit of a hard sell for me.

(Episode starts)
"Oh no, we're being attacked by bad cg" Wow, was this underwhelming. So in what planet Earth does a new continten appear and not one person thinks to call it Atlantis? The hell even is the name Magmel anyways? The animation was horrible, the writing just as bad (a lot of those lines were cringe worthy), the characters are generic AF and the setting (the island) looks like a cheap version of the worlds in HxH, One Piece, Toriko, etc. Definitely gonna pass on this series.

Same. I had problems with the plant, too. It apparently wants blood, it doesn't even have to be human. So it looks like the guy murdered his parents and friends just to be an asshole. |

well that was a rather interesting episode, a bit strange at times.
It was entertaining enough, I will say that much, they blew up a boat. I am curious to know what methods they will use next time to get discounts.

Wait a second...Inyou can just make as much food as he wants? Then why do they need to buy any!? How much money troubles can he have when food costs are basically nothing? If he doesn't want to keep eating marshmallows can't he just magic up some food?
Also this show still feels odd. I just can't get attached to Inyou and Zero. They are just too weird as individuals for me. Quirky and weird can be fine, but for them it feels like they've gone to another level of that. Anyways, at least Emilia was fairly likable. Not sure why exactly she went on this trip with the crazy idiots in the armed helicopter. But it was nice how she interacted with the Elin and understand them without needing any help there. It's thanks to stupidity around her that help was needed.
