Well color me pleasantly surprised to find out that there are other Patlabor fans on the forum.

And I knew I sensed a burning spirit just below the surface of Aoi's goofy exterior. This is pretty helpful stuff to confirm about his character going forward. Kind of can't wait till the plot kicks in now.

Considering the era it was made/set in, I can totally see him doing so, with Nagumo and Kanuka blushing demurely.

A few frames back and you can see that the teacher is enjoying it. It's just that they can't let the king know that the competition be packing 30% more beef.

So, Masazumi got a lot of exposition in this episode, a lot more than Toori, but we are here forgeting about her... Over some naked guy?????

...Trying to remember the episode, she seems the serious type, concerned about her future as a politician, while Tooris only concern is tomorrow´s party! She also goes into some mumbo-jumbo about family names that i couldnt read very well (damn fast sbs), but I do recall that, as a consequence, she got flat chested. Maybe if she had greater boobs we could be more concerned about her.

Well yes, but I'm more attracted to Neito by the end of the episode... Just saying... >.>

Exactly.

Now if only I was born a little later, I'd have thought of publishing my ideas as a light novel, given the quality of novels getting published these days... I stopped myself because of my tendency to infodump, then there's Toaru and Horizon and many others who've made it to anime. Even IS went and blew the charts off even though it was universally panned.

This is true considering what had happened to Mitotsudaira. Her fondling scene was only half censored. By the time should if they get to fondling Masazumi, there may be no censoring present at all.

Wow just watched the first two episodes and I can say....wow. Talk about a ton of characters to remember. Will definitely make use of the charts and naming lists on the earlier pages.

Well somewhat have an idea about what's going on. Lot of stuff to process and get a handle on.

Only one thing I can say for certain, the main lead is odd, but durable

Certainly has been a while since so many characters have just been thrown at the viewers. Crazy chase in episode 1 and then suddenly diving into a tragic back-story, along with everything else going on in episode 2.
