What's the best thing out now?
Like, I can find it on Animesuki, and it's good. Preferably starting a season...or recently finished
Nothing romantic, nothing too comedic (for whatever reason, I just don't get japanese humor, except in short bouts). Just looking for things to fill my Harddrive!! |

Don't know exactly what would be best suited for you, but here are two good series.
You can try the new unlicensed Pumpkin Scissors series. May include romance in later episodes, but looks like good action (and hopefully plot/character development too). And not sure if you have already enjoyed this one, but I strongly recommend Higurashi no Naku Koro ni if you are into the mystery genre or not. Just overall, excellent. This series is finished. Of course, these two make but a very small fraction of the excellent shows that have aired last season and will be airing this season. |

I'll second Pumpkin Scissors. It's a war, action anime with somewhat an interesting twist. Other animes that just came out include: Kanon (2006), Yoake Mae Yori Ruri Iro Na ~Crescent Love~, D.Gray-Man, and Death Note. If you want animes that just recently finished then watch: Strawberry Panic, Utawarerumono, Zero no Tsukaima, and Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni.
- I decided to include some animes with romance/comedy on it just in case you change your mind and get interested.
