Am I the only one who get uber-excited of Gundam AGE? It's time to get rid all of these incidents & rants about how dissapointed that Gundam 00 movie was last time.

It's time to move for something new this sunday.

I've only seen 00 so I don't have much to go by when it comes to the franchise but I'm very excited for AGE.

im very excited as well! im really curious what the show will be like^^

whether its for kids or not, its still gundam and thats all i care about.
if it turns out to be crap i can always just stop watching it and be done with it. we still have unicorn afterall which already proved how amazing it is!

As with every Gundam series, i'm open and ready for a new experience. Certainly looking forward to seeing what the first episode will bring.

That's what has always made me open minded about AGE.

100 years worth of mobile suit development and variations. That alone is a winner.

Yeah but there's the problem... the director/producer said in an interview that there will be one Gundam and one Gundam only... (save for it's evolving nature).

Yeah I was mainly referring to the Genoace and other Federation MS, plus the UE.

^Well, I guess the main Gundam would be getting developed. Upgrades do count as such even if its the exact same suit. Having the same suit in a year long Gundam series does not happen very often these days anymore though (not that I'm complaining about either format though), even if they potentially be big changes this time after each upgrade.

I'm not trying to be too optimistic for the moment. What I've seen have impressed me, mainly the mecha designs and the storyline background which seems great, but the direction can go anywhere quite frankly and just like the haters should not hate it too much because they have not seen it, the same goes for the optimist side. Having said that, its hard not to get excited when a new Gundam AU is around the corner, and one that has suspected aliens in it too and I'm very excited indeed and hope it would be a great series I would enjoy because there's some potential in it, from the concepts at least.

I was actually the one who asked Reckoner to post that Gundam age trailer while I couldn't. It's of much higher quality and basically serves to quell any doubts I had that this will be anything other than what I've come to expect of a Gundam show. Of particular standout was the music and it kind of surprises me that we still don't know who exactly is supposed to be doing it as far as I know.

The show is definitely shrouded in mystery compared to other Gundam TV shows of the past... Heck, they've yet to officially unveiled the voice actors for the show even. Whereas for 00 they had a whole conference announcing the 4 main characters' voices a month before it started.

I think this is the right move. I really hated how in Seed and 00 you basically knew what was going to happen because they revealed so much crap before it even appears on the show.

I can't wait for the first episode of Age even though I know it's just going to be another kid finds Gundam and learns how to use it and surprises his enemy formula for episode 1...i'm excited for the song.
