Out of the two movies I watched today, Thor: Ragnarok and Nanoha Reflection, I must say I was most impressed with the latter than the former. For one, not only were the antagonists more likeable and understandable, but Nanoha also didn't fall back on forced humor to make a situation amusing

Oddly though, watching Reflection gave me this feeling that I was watching a Hollywood action movie given the generous amount of explosions and property damage combined with their music choices, which wouldn't be out of place in a Michael Bay movie, and not helped by the hefty amount of robotics and tech being used on both sides. They seem to have skimped on the animation work on the first half of the movie so that they can concentrate it on the Fate vs Levi fight in the second half.

Also, the movie does end in a cliffhanger, so time to wait for Nanoha: Detonation to come out for the conclusion.

If there is one thing that Thor: Ragnarok has that Nanoha Reflection doesn't though, it's that the latter doesn't have the Immigrant Song.

It's currently screening at where I live now. Wondering if I should or should not go (or just wait for the Bluray ver). Reviews from fans here is placing the movie...below average?

BTW, to those that might be interested.

The first issue of the Reflection manga, is out and can be found on scan sites raw. So far it seems to provide a background to the events and happens just before Reflection the Movie.

Ah i finally was able to watch the movie today. Cinema hall was quite empty, just 6-7 people. Really thought i was watching Nanoha the Transformers edition lol.

I might have missed something or have forgotten the old original series, but they could still transform with barrier jacket without actual devices eh.

That's fine. BrJs are just spells after all, and if you are good enough mage you can do it even without a device, it's just harder. See: Yuuno and Einhard before getting a device.

Just found out the movie will be played on my home city. What should I do? I don't know if I want to see Signum job at the big screen. On the other hand it's a Nanoha movie in a movie theater.

Soft spoil me, without details, does she jobs too hard? How's the Wolks overall participation in the film (are they useful?)?
