Sean Connery, Oscar winner and James Bond star, dies at 90

Los Angeles (Oct 31, 2020): Sean Connery, the Scottish-born actor who rocketed to fame as James Bond and became one of the movies' most popular and enduring international stars, has died. He was 90.

Once pigeonholed as Ian Fleming's Agent 007, he went on to distinguish himself with a long and mature career in such films as The Wind and the Lion, The Man Who Would Be King and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

His turn as a tough Irish cop in Depression-era Chicago in Brian De Palma's 1987 The Untouchables brought him a supporting actor Oscar.

With music legend Morriconne, he is making the best movie ever up in Heaven with other movie legends like Christopher Lee and Ian Holmes.

Been difficult to find the cause of death, but best information I can find is probably cancer (I think what I read said throat cancer).

He was like, constant media presence for much of my childhood, what with all the reruns of Bond and Indiana Jones films. Will be missed. His best film for me was Hunt for Red October. That was great

Well he was 90 years old, sometimes there isn't a obvious cause.
