Higurashi - Requests for new threads

I would not mind a thread to handle things that do not fit into the other threads, even a general community thread would do...
Our social group does not get a lot of activity because guess not enough fans know how to join such on AnimeSuki.
But a general community thread would give a better oppurtunity to meet people as well as cover things that do not apply in existing threads

Also cosplay thread be nice.

I would love a cosplay thread, rather than just posting cosplays in the image thread. It'd be nice to just have a specific place to get critique and help other people with their cosplays.

I like to see a thread dedicated to Higurashi fan projects on the whole, rather then going to other forums or piggybacking on another thread. Something to post progress and what others might be working on. I am working on a second game btw and looking for some voice actors

now that the anime is finished and there's no game for now , it'll be interesting if there's a thread for the news about umineko, new albums aired, dvd solde ranking, ... and rumors
because when there's a new, it is posted in different threads ans is mostly not viewed by all !

If that's the case, perhaps you really do get to choose what goes on in the game (possibly based upon the mini-games). If so, then I could see this as a new breed of arcade gaming (like how guitar hero has an arcade game). If this were for an actual story arc, it could be way too long to keep an arcade gamer's attention (that, or it better have a massive payout for a "good end").

How about a thread titled like "What're you doing June 18-24?" Those days should be notable for Higurashi fans!

Just a thread where everyone posts what they're doing (or plan to do) those days. Me? I'm planning on rewatching the whole HIgurashi series! I finished the first season earlier.

I'm not sure if this has been requested yet, but why are there no character discussion threads? The characters of Higurashi are very well designed, with many aspects of their personality to discuss, so I'm surprised there aren't any.

Me too. There used to be some, but i think they were taken off the internet. The teens into anime in my state were taken off the internet!

I agree that a General Community thread would be great! It would make things a lot easier for just chatting with other fans.

Would a thread about Higurashi fan fiction make sense? I'm sure there's some very interesting fan fiction out there but there's very much so maybe recommendations and reviews could be made.

Hinimizawa Syndrome

. I believe that a good healthy debate would be a lot of fun. If we can determine a "winner" i.e. the poster with the strongest theory, we could make a collaborative youtube vid effort to show case our findings if you will.

Based on information provided in the series and other things, I can summarize my theories (for the purposes of the debate) as the following blue truths. Note: Lots of anti-fantasy perspective ahead.

1. The mechanism by which

A general theory thread for the issues in Higurashi that were never resolved would be nice, but I myself have written several reports on Hinamizawa Syndrome that pretty much go through everything the series has presented to us on HS. I even planned out a letter to Ryukishi07 to confront him about the disease and the things that don't match up, but it was never sent *~* (I didn't get a translator for it and I never got a hold of Ryukishi's email, a ha).

I second the motion for a general theory thread tho. And maybe an effort to get answers from Ryukishi would be nice. :d
