I think they can still have a friendly contest, but it won't be for the seat or anything. Most likely it'll be for Souma's benefit or show him how big or little the difference between their skills is.

Yeah, I just remembered that a minute ago, myself. Souma's mother is dead already. So Shindou can only either be his cousin or sister. Either way, she'd be a relative from Jouichirou's side because she's a lot like him (and Souma).

She cat eyes and fangs? Well, other female characters in mangas are drawn that way as well, so it's probably just that, but it does make her seem kind of sinister in a way. Hopefully it's just the looks.

Rindou looks suspicously similar to Sôma and Jôichirô. Same hair color and carefree attitude. Maybe this is just a coincidence, but you never know.

And it would seem Erina's character development is about to begin. That look in her face...

I see. Interesting. And also funny. Although I can feel for for Souma, too; I'd probably get unnerved, too, if someone talked to me with that kind of expression.

And with one chapter now I kinda feel bad for Kuga, he just wanted sempai to notice him again.

Seems like Rindou likes that fierce spirit residing in both Kuga and Souma, further interaction may become funny and interesting.
Even though Tsukasa seems like a super serious person while cooking, it would be hilarious to see him act shy and frightened in his booth

And finally, is Erina getting her arc? Ive been waiting this for a long time.
