The twin star exorcists don't have guardians. I think this is explained in chapter 2 of Benio. They just have the IN (yin) and ON (yang) powers inside them. Seimei and Doman were just helping them use the power, that's why it looked like they're their guardians.

If they awaken completely they won't need their help anymore.

I just read the raw for 52 btw on one place it was 52 and another it was 56 but they were both the same chapter

I just don't like chapters like this, i understand that it's to show just how powerful the enemy is but if you have your groups of relatively powerful and powerful people get systematically eliminated with close range one shots then how can it be justified when people of the same caliber somehow manage to survive or even win a few chapters later. It'd be better if they put up at least a bit of resistance instead of just screaming and dying so that it's a little more believable when someone similar actually dodges an attack or survives the fight.

The power level in this show was already pretty inconsistent. Don't know why you feel surprised now.

About the numbering, the chapter is officially called 56 because they're gonna to put the Benio side story in the same collected volume. So the main story jumps from chapter 50 to chapter 55. The Benio side story will comprise chapters 51 through 54 when the collected volume is out. It's a fucking mess, I know. Blame the stupid author for publishing Benio's part in a different magazine. If they were gonna put everything together in the same volumes, they should published everything in the same magazine too.

So chapter 51 is actually Chapter 55 and Chapter 52 is Chapter 56? I hope they'll at least put the Benio chapters with the main story ones online as well. That way the numbering online will make more sense and we can all also read the Benio chapters translated.

I wonder if Shimon will really surpass Tenma here? And will his feelings go through (that he at least somewhat understands Tenma's pain, at least)? I hope so.

But yeah, Shimon's new move he just created is good. I like how it's apparently inspired in part by Rokuro (who is Keiji, though?).

In the previous chapter (56) they were attacked by a basara. The youngest son was out of the game in one hit, and in ch57 we see all men lying dead or nearly dead, with only Shizuru still standing. Her mother is shown too, crying (not sure about the context yet, most likely she heard the news or smth).
