No, but Tatenashi could just use the Nanomachines. Or with the whole IS case, we could just drop mass number of Sensor underwater and tap into the net.

And I square that they must have made an underwater IS, or at least an amphibious one. Just like MS, which were born from space warfare.

Because it is kind of pointless to install such sensors, considering that IS are airborne most of the time and their target (another IS) are air-borned most of the time anyway.

As for the Minerva, I wouldn't say its a weakness. More like not optimized. Yes, it can operate underwater but it's only weaponry consists of a particle arm cannon and a pair of Pulse Gauntlets (discharges EMP bursts at every punch).

Not quite underwater worthy unless for recon.

Hmm... School Days makes people go crazy with its Ending, while Infinite Stratos does that with its Begining. What if I combine these two?

Ichika+Evil=Makoto

Yeah probably. Unless they go sonar, but even then the Minerva would be too small to pinpoint anyways.

How about making a Striker Pack-like equipment for Minerva: for underwater, desert, jungle, and space?

The ships can detect Minerva (size is not a problem) but Minerva can't detect them once they submerged.

At least until Inami figure out that they are underwater.

Actually, they can be simply detected by sonar but you need to be on or in the water.

But we are talking about a unit over-specialized in naval warfare, you probably wouldn't want to be in their territory but you can't exactly hit them from land or air.

Limiting their number to 6 flagships but they are capable of commanding other coreless ships. (easier to resolve the issue)

Edit: Out of sheer irony, despite of being technologically superior and more advanced than normal naval ship, their primary sensor as ships while underwater is actually sonar.... albeit very advanced sonar but still sonar.

My take on it: There is no basis of underwater IS equipment yet, so it has to be made from scratch which is why it would be simpler compared to the usual high-tech equipment.

Being Aerial unit, desert is probably not an issue.

1. Special projectile, whether it's harpoon or supercavitation projectile
2. Heavy explosive

Nope, Geniuses aren't born, they learned. For researching is like arts, you've to got passion for it. You couldn't made a scientist out from a pool of genetic codes. The best you could do is making as much as superior men/women and hope for it.

And beside, Tabane would want a big, fluffy pillow to cry on, not a flat board.

I'm actually thinking about sounwave weapon/vibro waves, for it could work underwater, jamming the enemies, as well as manipulate the heat of water.

Genetic Code determine the limit (neuron linking stuff...etc).

By forcing them to learn (hence the abuse).

About underwater weapon, my take is: pressure weapons... creating low pressure in target, allowing pressure from surround to crush target.

You can control temperature with anything

the question is whether it's efficient and practical or not
