Sailor Moon, I think. I vaguely remember my Mom commenting on how the enemies should just attack while the Sailors were going through pretty transformation sequences, or something like that.

I have too many early impressions of anime I have watched. Digimon, Pokemon, Doraemon, Gundam Wing and CCS. Though I'll have to say the one with the deepest and clearest impact was and still is Evangelion. That left quite something on the 12 year old back then.

Ah, Voltron! I remember watching reruns of that when I was really little, like 4 or something. I just enjoyed the fast action and robots. A couple of years ago I started watching One Piece, and I suppose that was the first series that I started properly watching.

Mine was Chodenji Machine Voltes V, but it was before I even knew what anime was.
My first introduction to anime as anime was Golgo 13: The Professional. I followed this with Wicked City, Vampire Hunter D, & Ninja Scroll. There were two titles that got me a little deeper into anime, Cowboy Bebop and the Rurouni Kenshin OVA. Then I followed these two with the RK TV series. The first anime to get me into all sorts of other anime that was not your samurai or action title was Love Hina. I've been addicted to anime as a whole ever since. |
