I've always wanted to translate the Kimi ni Todoke first season OP, but it turns out a fandub has already been made a year ago while the first season is airing. You may want to turn up the volume because the vocal part is barely audible.
Here's one for the ED (TV version): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YW-X7h0LQA4 |

LOL TAGALOG J-MUSIC DUB THREAD?!?!? Haha WTF!
I've watched some anime in TV5 2 years ago (where I saw Mikuru's song in Episode 00) but I don't think there's any anime there anymore since "Willing Willie" replaced it. Kaasar

You missed this one.. Hey, I just though about this, how will a Japanese crowd reacts with this situation? At a crowded mall, guy walks really fast, unintentionally nearly leaving his girlfriend behind. Then the girls calls the guy in Filipino " Hoy! Chris! Hintay!!!!!!" funny huh? |

Ahh, back in AnimeSuki after an eternity! I have an advanced Christmas gift for everyone who's still monitoring this thread. With this, you can do caroling to a ToraDora fan and expect a generous aguinaldo.
The more accurate translation would've been "Pasko na" but of course it doesn't fit the rhythm. This is the most difficult piece I have to work with to date. I would like to credit TakuanInc and JET for the help in translating.
Mapusok na Simponyang Pangkalawakan 7th Movement 'Walang-hanggang Pag-ibig' [1] Momoiro Clover Z Moretsu Pirates OP English translation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaJHJZCLSGE Japanese lyrics: http://www.kingrpg.net/2012/03/momoi...etsu-uchu.html Ooooh... Waw! Pumutok! Tindi! Sabog! Dagundong! Hanep! [1] Ako ma'y durog na butil ng bitwin (nag-anyo itong isang bulalakaw) Ikaw pa rin ang ini-ibig ko (I can believe) Lumiliyab (mainit) damdamin ko (lagablab) Ito'y pulang-pula na parang talang Antares sa pagningning (opo, lagi, magpakailanman) Ang layo mo ma'y bilyong agwat-bitwin (hindi ito katatakutan) [2] Sa pag-ibig ko 'to'y balewala lang (I can fly) Pangarap ko'y (kaylanman) 'di lalaho ('lang hanggan) Ang mga tala ay may mga anak na babantay sa 'yo Mapusok! [1] Tropa... humanay! [3] Hoo! Ibig-ibig kong umibig sa'yo! Opo ser! Pag-ibig laging isapuso mo! Opo ser! Sama-sama lahat dulot ng pag-ibig! Opo ser! Umiibig at iniibig ako! Opo ser! Hindi titigil ('di pwedeng tigil) Ako'y susulong (igagalaw ko) Kapag bumilis (speed lumabis) May kaba paminsan-minsan 'Kikislap ko (maliwanag) 'King sarili (tumutodo) Bawat oras full power Kahit sa hinaharap ako ma'y durog Malupit! Pumutok! Tindi! Sabog! Hiniwa! Hanep! Malupit! Pumutok! Sabog! Tindi! Dagundong! [5] Ohhhh... Hanep! Ako ma'y durog na butil ng bitwin (nag-anyo itong isang bulalakaw) Ikaw pa rin ang ini-ibig ko (I can believe) Lumiliyab (mainit) damdamin ko (lagablab) Ito'y pulang-pula na parang talang Antares sa pagningning (opo, lagi, magpakailanman) Ang layo mo ma'y bilyong agwat-bitwin (hindi ito katatakutan) Sa pag-ibig ko 'to'y balewala lang (I can fly) Pangarap ko'y (kaylanman) 'di lalaho ('lang hanggan) Ang mga tala ay may mga anak na babantay sa 'yo Mapusok! Spoiler for coda:
Notes 1 I used "hanep" or "mapusok" as translation for "moretsu" (translated in English as "bodacious") depending on the number of syllables used for it. Aside from that, I believe "hanep" is closer to how "moretsu" was used back in the days while "mapusok" bears a similar titillating connotation as "bodacious." 2 "Agwat-bitwin" literally means interstellar space, but here it is a stand-in Tagalog term for light-years. 3 This is barked in a commanding voice like that of a drill commander, just take note of the timing: "Tropa..." goes with "zenin", "humanay" goes with "se retsu." Also, prepare for tongue twisters in the next lines. These are spoken in an enthusiastic tone and pace. Note that there is no need to speed up excessively. 4 This verse has astronomically and grammatically nonsensical lyrics. These are spoken with a tone of fascination except possibly "Madilim na black hole!" which is spoken in a lower tone than the others. As with note #3, there is no need to speed up excessively. Lastly, what was the choir chanting at this part? 5 My source for the Japanese lyrics indicate that this line is exactly the same as in "Malupit! Pumutok! Tindi! Sabog! Dagundong!" earlier in the song. However, I hear differently, and exchanging the order of "tindi" and "sabog" makes it sound similar. (By the way, "sabog" in this song is pronounced SA-bog as in explosion, not sa-BOG as in messed up.) Last edited by CaptGloval; 2012-07-15 at 01:26. |
