I was wondering why there hasn't been any new chapters for the last 2-3 months. And just when it was finally Tatenashi time to shine.

I just check the Rapid Switch site, they wrote down why they won't be doing any more translation because the manga is on hiatus and don't want to wait for a year. Now J-Novel is the only group working on Infinite Stratos at this point.

I like to ask you something. It's about vol.7 of the light novel. Is Ichika and Houki dining out at the restaurant together considered as a 100%,certified real date or no? The reason why I asked because, well, someone from deviantart once told me that they did went out one date. But I'm sure that is true or not. I need a clear answer.

If Houki haven't went out one single date with Ichika or making progress with him at all since the start of the series, then light novel vol.13 is her last chance to do so.

While, 30 (or 32 if you count .5 as one) have been translated, and a least 10 that have not been translated. So around 42 or so chapters.

Currently, the raws are up to chapter 33.3, which is 8 chapters in total if counting from the end of volume 6 (chapter 30).
There should already be enough chapters for volume 7, but I don't know why they decided to postpone releasing it until next year.

Next year, I imagine, given that Volumes 11 and 12 came out roughly a year apart.

So, do you guys think Houki will end up with Ichika at the end? I hope they do. I mean he already tried to kiss her once and in Volume 8, while Ichika was annoyed by the other girl's delusions of him but he seems more jealous by how much Houki was fawning of over the fake Ichika. She also the only one of the girls to wake up and identify the real ichika in her dream.

Yes, unfortunately. Because Izuru forgot the best route(s) and should have given us Madoka and Chifuyu route.

I think the Chifuyu route isn't out of the question. As each reboot manga volume have an alternate cover with Ichika and Chifuyu together. Volume 6 of the rebooted manga not only shows the two of them walking together of the front, but also shows them getting married on the alternate. With Ichika in a suit and Chifuyu in a wedding dress.

The manga adapts the light novels 100%. It won't have a different ending to them...outside of like, a bonus 'alternate end' chapter.

Just look for chapter 27 on a manga site. Rapid Switch translated the chapter so it's available. You can find it on fanfox.net.
