And man, did Welkin cry up a big one in this ep. It felt like a real cry. |

There are a lot of things that tells about Welkin: - father-son-complex. Welkin never wanted to like his father but realizes that he has more inherited of his fathers character than he wished for. Seems like a tragedy has repeated (death of his mother?) - Welkin was such a sympathic airhead already as child.

And even if he borke the emotional barier you don't just go smiling right off the bat.Oh no,that's just the first step and it's the smallest one.It takes a lot of time to shake that feeling off.As I said before there were many possibilites to go with and they chose the worst one. |

Feels like some fans want this anime to be as realistic as Grave of Fireflies but they should of known it wasn't after a couple of eps into it. I mean you got some female shooting big ol fireballs in the air wipping out 3 tanks and some buildings. Sure love can blossom in the battlefield, soliders can smile after a victory, Welkin can get over his mopping around after letting it all out, etc. It doesn't seem too unlrealistic to me at all.
p.s Fabio seems unrealistic to me and needs to die! |

Timeskips meaning skpiping weeks or days while something is happening. Not while nothing is going on. (since nothing is really happening they don't show us that...or in some cases *cough* Haruhi s2 *cough* they do a couple of times).
So yes they did make a few timeskips between battles. In fact at the end of every battle but that was because there was nothing interesting.Oh and during the time they are travelling from one place to another but that doesn't seem to take a lot of time since they mostly travel on foot. Basically I think Death Header meant timeskips that showed Welkin depressed over time since well he got over his sister's death in what 2-3 days after they got back? If they ain't gonna show us the things I mentioned before they could have made a time skip and clearly show it was one. That way Welkin's depression would have been more realistic. Not enough but it would have been better. There was a timeskip after Isara died but it was so they could get back to their base.It wasn't stated how long it took but I highly doubt it was 3 weeks.Maybe I didn't pay attention though Quote:
And after you lose a family member you can't move on that fast. You let it out times and times again but that doesn't hel that much (persoanl expirience speaking) And we know that this was Welkin's last family member so it was really though on him. As I said before if the situation got really intense in a battle or something he might have come to his senses ( or go completely emo) since he'll see his comrades dying and he wouldn' want that to happen thus he'll act.And if he succeed he'll have realised what is important to him now. And I didn't expect it to be a serious anime but they could have made it a bit more realistic in terms of character development and the way they act. I agree that Faldio is annoying and unrealstic character though XD |
