I recommend to people who like DQ IX to play DQ VIII on the PS2. It is in my top three RPGs, I think. It is hard to pick amongst Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest VIII, and Final Fantasy IX.

Great game all around and def one of my more favorite RPGs, liked it alot more than Golden Sun so far but then I never got into GS yet cause of Pokemon White

I love the class system for this game, can have great fun with it but at same time seems like it takes forever to lvl up.

That's good to hear, I'm sure once i get into it, i'll never want to stop playing.

& luckily there's no decent 3DS games out yet.

i'm only at the beginning, and i find the gameplay nice but i
sometimes get bored....
