Looking for an rural-type high school romance

Basically I'm looking for anime that is JUST like Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi. High school romance + City boy or girl (transfer student) moving to an rural area (the countryside) + kindasortamaybe haremish. I'm also more interested in the main character (male or female) moving to the urban area for a family reason (such as in Hoshizora he moved there due to his little brother) or any other reason actually and meets all these girls and has some type of romance. No manga and preferably anime within the last few years or so.

Some anime that is sort of what I'm looking for that I've seen:
Yosuga no Sora (only because the area is rural sorta and it's romance)
Lamune
Myself Yourself
Air (again, romance/rural so to speak)
*There may be 1 or 2 that I've seen but I don't remember their names, but I am willing to rewatch them as it has been awhile*

I took about a year long break or so and I just got back in a few days ago and saw Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi that got me back into it. Much appreciated!

Edit:
I'm following Boku Ha Tomodachi GaSukunai and I too would like similar animes to this one also.

I BELIEVE I've seen most, if not all the "rural/transfer student"-type anime that has come out in the past year or two (looking for older ones).

I recommend Hana Saku Iroha but the moving actually causes some problems for the romance.

Bleh, I sincerely hope that "romance" is over and done with. It's a good anime though, probably the best of its season.

I actually saw that when I was browsing the fairly new animes but it didn't say any romance so I didn't bother looking but I'll give it a shot! Looking for more series!

I kind of want to recommend Kamichu! if you haven't seen it. Takes place in a smallish port city with hills and trees all around. It's middle school, not high school, and the protagonist isn't transferring in or anything like that (though there's one episode where she's temporarily a transfer student). It's a really good slice of life show with fantasy elements and some romance towards the end.

I'll check that one out too, though I'm not really interested too much in middle school stuff especially when there's romance. xD

I don't see that there's usually much difference between middle school and high school relationships in anime, lol. Anyways, the "romance" is only really a focus in an episode or two (There's actually 16 including DVD episodes).

Hmm ... one series that jumps to mind (though maybe a little heavy on the drama and with a WTH! last minute ending) is H2O: Footprints in the Sand.

Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko describes what you are asking for, but as far as the romance developing...that's a little lacking. Overall great anime though.

I'll check that out too, I did watch like two episodes when it came out and didn't like it but that was awhile ago, I'll try again.

^
Saw that one too, liked it though I wish there was romance!

Bumpin it! Just finished watching the recent episode 3 of Boku Ha Tomodachi GaSukunai and I really like it (despite it not being "rural area" the male character does transfer back to this city)! Hoping for more suggestions!

Some anime that I know about moving to rural area that haven't been mentioned before are Absolute Boy and Onegai Twins. The former is a cerebral-mystery anime while the latter is a romantic-comedy. Still, I don't know if they will fit your taste.

I'll check out Absolute Boy though I'm not really into mystery-type stuff (or at least that's what ANN says about it) and I watched Onegai Twins as well as Onegai Teacher.

Watched that as well and liked it. I'd give a list but it'd sit here and think about my whole list of anime all day >_<

Is the moving that important to you?If not you've got True Tears that's a romance show set in a village.

Saw Yosuga, liked it. True Tears..haven't seen that in a long time, I will re-watch!

Moving itself isn't so important. I'm more into the transfer-type atmosphere where the main character befriends new and old people with a romance to it like (maybe like an old romance they had when they were childhood friends).

Most of the anime within the past year or two I've seen related to this I believe, though giving the same name suggestions doesn't hurt. I'm willing to rewatch older ones too.

How about just entering new school? ie: being first year students.

If that's ok, then Kimi ni Todoke would a good choice, considering the main character have to fight through her shyness in a class where no one is from her middle school (or at least no one she knows). And it tells a great soothing, romantic, story.

The romance is more of a crush in Ghost Hound, but it tells an intriguing story set in a rural village. Another off-the-wall option is Moyashimon which has a bit more romance, but it's set in an agricultural college not a high school.
