You know, I bet Bach did mean son literally, what he alluded to was the fact that masaki wasn't actually ichigo's mother. It's not that Ichigo didn't know she was a quincy, it's that he didn't know she wasn't his biological mother.

Ichigo's actual mother is Bach. Bach is actually a woman that doesn't like shaving. This is why (s)he just wants to capture Ichigo and bring him to the quincy side.

Honestly, with the way this series has been going lately, I would say anything is on the table. I say this actually having enjoyed some of the things the manga has done recently (even if a lot of the time it is purely how ridiculous it has gotten).

I liked it.

Also, Juha may have just been calling him 'son' as in 'comrade quincy.' Except he wouldn't say comrade because he's a fascist not a communist.

OK. Calling this now Ichigo goes to daddy for explanations, daddy is silent. Ichigo goes to the next best guy for the mind rape... Aizen.

It's sad that it seems Ichigo's hollow powers are gone. If he had them he should have been able to fair much better. But if I find out Ichigo had his hollow powers all along I'm going to take a brake from bleach for a month...

The author will have a full blast with giving Ichigo powers of all the factions at the end.

Before getting answers he will have to mend his sword first. But still who might be the one who interrupted Urahara before? I think its probably Ishida's father.

Just like every human can become a Quincy if they have the necessary spiritual awareness, every dead soul may become a Shinigami.

They don't just have high spiritual awareness, they clearly have inborn abilities as well...so I doubt any human can become a Quincy.

Remember when he was telling Ichigo something back then about him being " a shinigami and a ... " then got interrupted by Isshin .
